The property was lovely. Compact, but just as we wanted. Janet, the owner is a, very lovely lady and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay. She is on site and available for any issues you may have (we didn't have any). We would highly recommend this property or any of the others this owner has. Some of the other apartments are, pet friendly too. At. Merryn is a superb location and has a lovely pub, The Farmers Arms, 7 beaches close by, 6 of which are dog friendly all year round. Only 3 miles from the gorgeous harbour town of Padstow and fairly central to visit other tourist attractions in Cornwall such as Tintagel, St. Michael's Mount, Lizard Point or Land's End, plus many more. Beautiful.

We had a great week staying at The Quies, it was the perfect base for our holiday with a great sea view and surrounded by country fields. The location is excellent… the Cornish Arms is at the end of the track to the accommodation, a number of shops and restaurants in St Merryn just a 10 min walk away. Particularly liked Rafferty’s and the fish and chip shop. Spoilt for choice with several lovely beaches in the area, with Harlyn Bay being a 20 min walk if preferred to driving. The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The living room and bedroom were simply furnished but comfortable. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future!

This is our second time staying at quayside, and you can't really get a better constant view in the harbour and location, especially for included parking space too. You get a nice welcome pack and there's nothing I can think of that isn't available to use in terms of utensils. A couple of items(microwave/washing machine) have seen better days and could do with an update. But won't massively affect most customers stay, we have a newborn however so did need those things for clothes and sterilising. That being said we would still return here again and we finally got to see a bit of a storm here in porthleven which is good to watch from the safety of the property.

The property was very clean and is in a perfect location if you want to travel around. We managed to go to various beach’s and towns that were at most an hour drive away. We went to a beautiful beach that was only 10 mins away. However there wasn’t any tea bags, sugar, cleaning products which would have made a difference to our arrival and stay. When staying at other apartments they often provide some items such as oil, tea bags etc. We did have to ask for more toilet paper and washing up liquid as there wasn’t much provided

All excellent see comments above. Wish we had known about this property years ago! Still in St Merryn our favourite location as so central to all our favourite places, Bedruthan Steps, Newquay, Padstow which we love and the best beaches ie Constantine Bay and all the lovely walks, Poldark's Holywell Bay, Port Isaac. We would never get tired of coming here except the long journey to get there but the apartment was so restful I would do the journey again and stop for two weeks.
