What our customers say about their holidays
Angela - Verified booking
Generally we had a really good holiday at this apartment and would certainly consider booking again.
Here are all the good points: - convenient location close to local amenities and shops (including the best fish and chip shop on the island - Finneys) - Parking for 2 cars (and really nice neighbours who saw the size of our motability vehicle and offered us an easier space to park in) - Well laid out and comfortable overall - Well equipped kitchen - Warm - Pleasant, helpful owner - Quiet even though it is on the main road (but we were there during term time) - Bed linen good and nice soft furnishings - Property was clean when we arrived - Dog friendly - Easy to negotiate for people with mobility issues (not sure about for those using a wheelchair though) Some things to note though: - Third bedroom is very, very small and has no window. Listing does say it's a child/teenager room but note that it doesn't have anywhere to hang clothes or any sort of bedside table - Outside space isn't really private and is right on the main road, so we didn't feel that comfortable using it - The lounge is much smaller than it looks in the photos - although still ok for 4 adults and a dog - There is a dining table for 4 but it's really not functional because it's up against a wall and there isn't room to leave it out and still access the kitchen properly - lots of chipped crockery (mentioned to the owner) - Could benefit from a set of instruction manuals for the appliances (although the owner did show us how to use the induction hob) - Towels are very worn - but clean - Anti-slip bathmats desperately needed replacing (spoke to owner and he brought new ones for the next guests) - Owner did tell us there had been a damp problem in the main bedroom but we were careful to use the dehumidifier he provided

Property is an absolutely fantastic building in an unbelievable location but unfortunately let down by maintenance and administration issues.
We arrived to receive a message that there was a blockage in one of the en-suite bathrooms and it was out of commission. We were informed a plumber would attend either the first or second day to repair it; despite contacting the agents on a number of occasions no plumber appeared. Yes, a first world problem, one of three en-suites being out of order but resulted in one couple being forced to constantly use the downstairs loo. Not what we paid top dollar for. Also disappointing that there was no information guide left for guests. As a result of this we had no idea that the apartment had access to a separate, private garden. Imagine how we felt when returning home to be told about the garden facility by the people who had previously stayed, and recommended the property to us. Instead we didnât venture into the garden as it was occupied by children in the flat below playing football. The lack of information also meant that we had no idea how to use the various, impressive entertainment equipment to found in the apartment and as for the complicated Welsh recycling system, anyoneâs guess. A really impressive property which, if everything was working/explained will provide excellent accommodation, just donât expect the owner/letting agent to do anything to make your stay a pleasant or easy one. A real pity.

We recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience.
Overall, we found the listing to be accurate, and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the efforts made to ensure these aspects. However, we did encounter a few issues during our stay: 1. Fire Alarm: On one morning, a fire alarm from another property rang in our accommodation, waking us up very early. Despite the issue not being with our property, we had no way to silence the alarm. It would be beneficial if there were a way to silence or manage alarms specific to our property once weâve determined there is no risk. 2. Hot Water: On the second day, we experienced a lack of hot water. Although this was eventually resolved by a plumber, it was inconvenient. The boiler was locked away, preventing us from diagnosing or fixing minor issues ourselves without outside help. 3. Broken Toilet Seat: The toilet seat in the master en-suite was broken, and it was obvious that it had been in this condition for quite some time. While this may seem minor, given the high cost of the property, such issues should be routinely addressed to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. Thank you for considering this feedback. We hope it helps improve the experience for future guests. Kind regards, James

We really enjoyed our stay at number 6.
The apartment was modern, clean and comfy. I like the seaside decor & pictures throughout. There were 2 large sofas with throws for extra comfort. Two fridges was a bonus, but note that neither have a freezer section. Kitchen well equipped, including a dishwasher & washing machine. Plenty of glasses, cups, plates & cutlery but could do with more cereal bowls. Bedrooms were really warm & cosy with plenty of storage. Bathroom with bath & excellent power shower. Bins in all rooms made it easy to keep the place tidy as well as 2 bins in the kitchen. We went for New Year and I was worried that the apartment wouldnât be warm enough but it was lovely and warm and cosy. We have stayed in Morfa Nefyn lots of times and are very familiar with it. The apartment is in a great location for beach, golf, shop & pub. We would definitely go again.

Weâve really enjoyed our stay at the apartment in Benllech.
The property is cosy, warm and comfortable. It well equipped for those who like to cook but also, well positioned if you fancy a takeaway or, a visit to one of the local pubs or restaurants. Iâm going to miss the beach view from the kitchen window! Following a recommendation from the owner, we had a very nice meal at the Beachcomber Restaurant. As artists, weâve spent lots of time sketching and drawing the beautiful beaches & boats in and around Red Wharf Bay, Cemaes, and Moelfre. Plas Newydd House was closed but we managed to visit the gardens. Like us, you might have to ask for directions as it is not well signposted from Benllech. We also enjoyed the fascinating history of Beaumaris Gaol. Itâs an island of contrasts with a backdrop of misty topped mountains. Just a shame we live so far away.
