Overall, A great stay in a great location, Hot tub is excellent, private, one of the quietest tubs we've used, location is wonderful, so quiet all we could hear was the birds, great little field for walking the pup ones opposite, and town centre 2 mins down the road, we never got around to trying the gym and spa there,as we were so well catered for, a little pricey i think this is he top end we would pay, but we have had better, elsewhere for less, although this isnt a crititicism, (the place i'm comparing it toois outstanding and exceptional) The lodge is welcoming and spacious, well set out, and everything you need is catered for Downside - Cleaners could do with looking upwards, we removed several well established cobwebs from the ceiling, left the ones under the lampshades, window in the kitchen was dirty and smeared, black pet hair on the carpets, not surprising as the hoover in the property is pretty useless, and some hooks on the bathroom doors for robes would be useful!

Lovely 3 day break , in a nice peaceful location, the view was beautiful. However upon arrival there was a strong smell, the sofa had visible stains which made us feel reluctant to sit on them , there were cobwebs in the light fittings and the garden furniture was mouldy. We did complain and request a change of lodge, only to be told there wasn’t much availability. It’s advertised as luxury but could do with some maintenance. We made the most of our stay. And will continue to come back again next year. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay and were impressed from start to finish. Lovely touch to be able to use the on site gym/swim/steam and sauna. Robes were a great touch adding perfectly to the Luxury stay. The unspoiled view was fabulous from the hot tub and rear decking. Spacious inside. Super comfortable beds. Bath AND shower. Lovely clean towels and linen. It just lacked an extra mirror in the second bedroom- for our 13yr old daughter We loved it! We hope to return ! Thank you so much.

It was absolutely beautiful!, We had an issue with the hot tub needing filling, we contacted reception and within 5 minutes we had someone at the lodge. Great experience and can’t wait to be back! Great location 5 minutes from a little town with shops and everything you could need. Nothing! The most beautiful and relaxing place I’ve stayed. HDMI cable in the living room was broken but luckily we had packed ours.
