Lodges & Log Cabins With Hot Tubs In Scotland

Log cabins with hot tubs in Scotland

Something special happens when you have a log cabin holiday in Scotland. When the rustic romance of a secluded cabin meets the mist-covered magic of the Highlands, you get a kind of serenity that doesn't exist anywhere else.

It's a holiday that doesn't sound like it could get much better. That is, of course, until we add a bubbling hot tub. Just picture lounging under the clearest nights sky you've ever seen while the stress of city life is massaged out of your muscles, by the wonderfully warm waters of your private hot tub.

Indulge in some peace, quiet and complete relaxation

In our professional opinion, we think everyone could do with a hot tub holiday in Scotland. Whether it's for a family getaway, a large group of friends or a week of much-needed me-time, there's no-one who doesn't need a dose of peace, quiet and complete relaxation.

Maybe you're looking to leave the rest of the world behind, with a lover's retreat to one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. Well, how does lying atop an emerald hill, a glass of locally brewed whiskey in your hand and only the scamper of wild red deer to interrupt your conversations sound?

Why not try bringing everyone together by taking them closer to nature and explore cottages with hot-tubs that can fit the whole family. You can even bring your four-legged friend along for the ride, with a dog-friendly holiday home near the banks of Loch Lomond.

If you'd like to find somewhere in the middle of nowhere, with enough excellent amenities to keep you entertained all day long, check out our fully-equipped lodges with hot tubs, swimming pools, state-of-the-art games rooms and much, much more. When it comes to log cabins in Scotland, the clear, blue sky's the limit.

From romantic lochs to dramatic crags, choose your retreat

Scotland is a vast and magical place and choosing the region that's right for you is one of the most important parts of your hot tub holiday. Luckily, we're here to help. We know Britain's most northerly nation like the back of our hand and we'll find you a five-star luxury lodge in the perfect place.

If you're craving the peace and quiet that only a log cabin can provide but still want to be within easy reach of the city centre, go for Edinburgh. Here, you can blend tranquillity with top-notch entertainment. You can spend one-night sipping wine beneath the silent stars and the next catching an award-winning show at the Bedlam Theatre.

For a place that's on just about every tourist's list, how about heading to the beautiful banks of Loch Ness? A retreat for holidaymakers and monster-hunters alike, this stunning loch serves fantastic views and some of the freshest air in Britain.

If relaxing walking routes are more your thing, why not make for the depths of the Scottish countryside and Cairngorms National Park? You can find a place on a working farm or a pet-friendly property atop an emerald hill. Just picture being surrounded by nothing but rolling fields and the chance to let both your mind and body wander.

Don't forget, we also have thousands of lodges in Scotland as well!

What our customers say about their holidays

    The Shepherds Hut was fabulous!

It's position on the farm is great with private garden area and parking. Its been very nicely converted and was really comfortable and cosy. Having the log burner indoors was perfect but we also appreciated the electric kettle for a quick cuppa! The gas BBQ is great as was the toasty shower. We added breakfast and BBQ packs and the contents were delicious. Our labrador pup loved the Shetland ponies and the sheep right beside us - even when the ponies decided to moonlight laps around their field!! The hut is really well equipped and kitted out - the only suggestions we had was perhaps a hook on the inside of the door for coats and something heavy or a hook to hold the door open coz the boot rack stops the door going all the way back to the original hook. The outdoor light and solar lights around the path were perfect for evening - and the torch was appreciated too - but the dark skies were perfect for watching the stars. We explored the whole area and found lots of great walks, swims and places to eat!

We were a party of 5 ladies staying for a weekend in January 2025.

The lodge exceeded out expectations. It was warm, welcoming, comfy, and modern. The hot tub was piping hot and the views were outstanding. Aberfeldy is a 2 minute drive, however we walked there and back for dinner and drinks and it took around 15 minutes. There aren't any streetlights after you leave the town but we used the torches on our phones are were fine. The lodge itself is really well equipped and it had everything you'd expect. We didn't need to bring kitchen roll, food wrap, salt, pepper, tea or coffee, it was all there, including ice in the freezer. Lovely little touches were the shortie biscuits and prosecco in the fridge. We travelled during Storm Elowyn and although the road up is very steep, we managed it no problem, you just need to take your time. Not sure how I'd fancy it in the snow however. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

For a over £700 4 day get away you would expect a clean and fresh hot tub upon arrival.

Unfortunately that wasn't our case and we couldnt use it for a full day! It was super cloudy and full of what seemed to be fluff and lots of long strands of hair. (Fished out at least 20/30 strands) Asked sykes if someone could come out and clean it for us and within 20 minutes we had a maintenance man out cleaning it. He was actually really shocked at how dirty it was and he had to replace the water and filter as it was brown and slimey. The matteress in the master suite was unbelievablely hard too! We had a terrible night's sleep. For these warmer nights you should supply a cheap fan for the rooms as we were glued to the bedding each morning even with the windows open. All of those stated above put a sour taste in our mouths. its a Beautiful place where the lodge is Situated in but unfortunately we won't be returning.

Thank you for having us at your lodge .

We did enjoy our stay but it was not luxury. There was no dressing gowns for the hot tub you'd expect and the hot tub was greasy. Your lodge is stunning but could be done with a deep clean. On arrival the road up to ithe property really needs attention. The kitchen was clean but the cutlery in drawer wasn't clean or checked there was also rotten bananas half eaten loft and waffles left behind. The pans in cupboard were in disarray and plates needed washing before use. I refixed the cupboards and dishes as I do look after 5 star luxury lodges myself. All in all we enjoyed our stay and had wanted to extend it but seemed a nightmare to try and extend. We will return some time as it was quiet and we did enjoy the fire and the view.

Wonderful lodge in a beautiful setting and ideally situated for access to Aberfeldy and the surrounding area.

Everything is exactly as described. Only two small negative comments from us ……. 1. the hot tub cover was very difficult to replace as it’s very heavy and in such a tight spot and 2. we also felt the heating in the lodge was set too low and although you can easily increase it the new temp only lasts for 30 minutes - perhaps this should maybe be at least one hour. There is a log burner but we didn’t have kindling, logs etc with us to put it on. Overall it’s a great lodge and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others or return ourselves.
