  We’ve hired many a self catering place over the years but you really couldn’t wish for a better bolt hole to spend a week….

  or two! An amazing space for a group of 6-8 people, spacious enclosed garden, perfect if you own a dog and you also want a bit of privacy. Hot tub, garden chairs, loungers, large table to sit and eat at. Inside is a wonderful little rabbit warren downstairs. The bunk beds with separate shower room and loo plus the king bedroom with en-suite is on the ground floor. Upstairs two other bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Downstairs the kitchen is amazingly well stocked with pans, dishes, crock ware cups and glasses. We managed to cook up a roast dinner and had plenty of serving dishes etc to achieve this without any hassle. Biggest dining table you could ask for when self catering for the larger group. TV lounge spacious and very comfortable, two other rooms including a conservatory if you want to peel off from your group for a bit of quiet time. Even a utility room with washer & dryer, airier or pegs and basket if the weather is good to hang your swimming costumes outside on the line provided. Winterton on sea is just delightful, sea, sand dunes and cafés for a cuppa and something to eat after a long beach walk. If you want something less challenging underfoot (the sand dunes can be a bit hard on the ole calf muscles! :0) Sea Palling beach is a short drive with again a lovely sandy beach and café. Norwich, beautiful architecture and shopping plus is a short train ride from Gt Yarmouth if you don’t fancy driving. Evening eating, take aways available nearby and the Fisherman’s Return is a must, generous portions, lots of inside and outside seating with a friendly atmosphere. Finally, Nick the owner gives you all the information you require at the start of your holiday with contact numbers if you have any questions or problems (which we didn’t) lovely guy who deserves a five star review for offering a wonderful place to spend your holidays - thank you Nick

  We had a wonderful and supremely relaxing week away at Fallowfield.

  It is an absolutely superb, spacious property and Nick, the owner, was really helpful and responsive. The facilities were perfect in every way and if you have dogs or kids the enclosed garden was brilliant as they could run around to their heart's content and you could sit in the hot tub and watch them too if you liked, make use of the patio furniture or sit in the conservatory. It was minutes to the beach (via some steps) and the beach cafe wasn't far along, the village shop and tea room was lovely and the Fisherman's Return was great too. The owners also put an information booklet in the property to suggest other places to visit and I felt that nothing was too much trouble. It would be great for a large or extended family and there was plenty of parking with two sets of well built gates so you could shuffle cars around if you needed to. It is all very well considered at Fallowfield. We booked the property because our motorhome had a fault but I'm so glad we got to stay at Fallowfield. It was absolutely fantastic.   As three couples who have been meeting every year in a self catering property for the last ten years or more, we can confirm that Fallowfield is as comfortable and well presented as any property we have had the good fortune to find.

  There is a large enclosed garden which is well maintained and the hot tub was clearly well looked after. Inside there are three comfortable seating areas and a kitchen with plenty of mugs, glasses, crockery, pans and cutlery. There is a useful utility area for those with dogs. The property is well situated with the sandbanks and sea a few minutes walk away down some steps and a footpath. There is an easy walk to Winterton on Sea and the pub and shop. It was very quiet and peaceful both day and night. It’s a good centre for trips on the Broads, the Bure valley railway, the seals near Horsey and various coastal villages. Nick was very easy to communicate with during our stay and we all had a most enjoyable week. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

  What a fabulous holiday house!

  Perfect for our 3 generation family and accompanying dogs. . Love, love, loved the conservatory games room - pool, darts and a juke box and loads of games and puzzles. The beach is wonderful walking and goes on and on. Extra special seeing so many seals between Horsey Gap and Sea Palling, as well as at Horsey Gap itself. Hot tub overlooking the sea is extra special after long walks. Photos don't do this house justice - both living rooms are huge and furnished with very comfortable chairs and sofas. All bedrooms comfortable. Bonus to find that the slimline dishwasher, that we were expecting from the description. has been replaced by a full size dishwasher, thank you. Everywhere we visited was ultra dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend a holiday Beach Haven.

  We arrived as a family of 6 and two dogs, we had the best time, the bedrooms were large, kitchen was really well equipped, we brought loads of bits with us like washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc but all was provided, living room was very large and comfortable, bt tv including films which was great, the best bit for us was the games room, pool table, darts boards, board games, juke box and all in a large conservatory, we spent most of our nights in there enjoying all the games, there was also a beer fridge in there too, the garden was just huge and the pictures didn’t do it justice, loved the hot tub, great for people watching, garden furniture was in a great spot as was shielded by the wind, I would definitely recommend this property
