  The worst property I have seen but could be amazing. The whole site looks like it's not seen any maintenance in years. Main feature dragons eye and glass front which was in such disrepair and filthy needed fixing leak and painting and removal of old towel from leaks. BBQ past cleaning needs removing and new one if going to be cleaned and maintained. Pizza oven and communal area needs cleaning and maintenance. How often is hot tub checked and cleaned ? The whole property and surroundings needs a deep clean even the woodburner had deep dust and cobwebs - throw on bed and cushions should be washed regularly previous guests rubbish removed logs for fire and fire pit provided but all forgot for our arrival. Text owner before arrival but no reply and no communication awful customer service! How owners can expect to run properties like this with no repairs or maintenance, dirty throughout and such poor customer service in this strong tourism market is shocking could only get away with it on coast !

  We had a lovely 3-night stay in the Dragon’s Eye cabin. It’s a beautiful spot on a working farm with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The setting was peaceful and full of nature – donkeys, sheep, birds, and amazing scenery all around. It really felt like a wildlife haven, perfect for switching off and unwinding. The cabin was cosy and unique, with stunning views from the big round window. It had everything we needed, and although it’s a working farm (so you might spot a few cobwebs here and there), it was very clean and welcoming. The host, was amazing – so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We left feeling recharged and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature and a peaceful escape.

  We didn’t realise how isolated it was. We thought there would be nature walks and paths around the area. We didn’t realise we would have to drive to find the nature walks. It had so much potential. It looked like it could do with a really good clean. The roof also leaked there was a puddle of water on the floor near the log burner. The owners obviously knew as there was a small hole towel at the back of the log burner. Also during the heavy rain we could hear the water pouring out of the gutter over the door. The bed was comfortable and we had a laugh drank wine and played cards. We had a lovely time but not for us. We would prefer something near the coast

  Absolutely amazing pod the dragons eye is! We had a lovely stay getting away from a busy life to pure bliss & relaxation here. At peace with the beautiful views & outdoor lifestyle relax & unwind in the hot tub & get all cosy with the fire. Feed the donkeys & have a paddle around the lake just what we need some valued us time. 100% recommend this place can’t wait to come back next year & hopefully see some stars that’s the only thing we didn’t see as it was to foggy both the evenings but apart from that we had a fabulous weekend away. Thank you very much x

  The house was lovely.

  It was very clean and well equiped including a Tassimo Coffee Machine. The photographs don't do it justice. The owners were very friendly and replied to all emails quickly giving us advice for restaurants in the area so that we could book in advance. I would advise booking well ahead for weekends as we were unable to get in anywhere on a Saturday evening despite ringing several days before we left home. I would highly recommend The Moorings to friends and family who wish to visit North Wales.
