"There were no teaspoons or instructions as to how to tune TVs. We were unable to use the TVs in the bedroom. Just little things that spoilt a nice cottage"

"The setee was very old and it would have been nice if a roll of toilet paper had been provided. There were no teaspoons or instructions as to how to tune TVs. We were unable to use the TVs in the bedroom. Just little things that spoilt a nice cottage"
    Mr Netherton

    - Julian P, March 2015
"great countryside & coastline. Garden not secure enough to hold dogs but sorted by the next time? A***"
    - Mrs Hammond, August 2016
"The cottage had excellent facilities and is in a pleasant location with friendly neighbours. The location is excellent for touring the southern Lake District and there is marvellous scenery to be enjoyed in the immediate area. There is a local pub just up the road which serves good food with friendly service. I would definitely have considered booking in the future, but the cottage is no longer dog friendly & that is very important to me."
    - Ms Smith, March 2017
"Lovely little cottage, clean and cosy, everything you could want. A good base with an excellent local pub 'General Burgoyne' for food and drink."

    Mr Peter Broadhurst, Longniddry,,
"The cottage is situated near enough to Ulverston without being part of the suburbs. There is immediate access to the countryside and the coastline. The cottage is well heated and the porch provides space to keep walking gear. Altogether we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."
    Mr Graham Webster, Calne,
"The cottage was excellent, really high quality. Probably the best we've stayed in so far."
    Mr David Hearn, Hungerford,

    Miss Rachel Vincent, Yeovil,
"A beautiful, cosy cottage in a fantastic location, easy to explore nearby Lake District. Perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 Labradors, the cottage was like a home away from home. Owners were great, helpful but not intrusive, and we had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable Christmas week. Would definitely come back again!"
Mr Nicholas Chilton, LEEDS, West Yorkshire
"Lavender Cottage was stunning, the fixture and fittings were excellent (with some exceptions). Both AGA appliances were great."
    Mr Frank Watts, Southport,

Mr James Lyons, Keighley, North Yorkshire
"Good weather helped, the garden and sun house/Wendy house were excellent. It was a completely relaxing getaway, just what we needed."
    Mr A Hawkes, Whitstable,
"We loved everything about Lavender Cottage, from the beautiful cottage itself to the fantastic location and lovely village pub. The cottage is cosy and welcoming and our dogs settled in very well and were content, with added bonus of enclosed rear garden. The owners could not have done more for us and were extremely helpful and friendly. They should be very proud of themselves and the recently renovated cottage. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this as a stunning holiday location."
