Sitting proudly on the harbourside in Weymouth is Fisherman's Catch. A traditional fisherman's cottage, it has now been transformed by its owners into a contemporary and stylish holiday cottage. With views of the inner harbour towards the town bridge and out to sea, an ever changing vista is on display from the cottage. A modern newly fitted kitchen and two bath / shower rooms blend effortlessly with the character of bygone years such as the exposed brick work and cottage style stairs. Directly from your front door try crabbing from the harbour wall, or walk to the Stone Pier to enjoy views to the horizon and check out what the local fishing enthusiasts have caught in their buckets. Stroll from Fisherman's Catch and explore Brewer's Quay, find the perfect antique or collectable in the Emporium then stop for lunch al fresco at one of the selection of pubs, bistros and restaurants bordering Hope Square. A few minutes' walk further will take you to the town centre with a variety of high street stores and smaller independent shops. Adjacent to the town centre is the attractive Georgian esplanade and main Weymouth Beach, with golden sand (reportedly the best in the south for building sandcastles) and shallow waters, here you can partake in entertainments such as donkey rides and bungee swings, or just kick back on a deck chair with an ice-cream.
