The outside of this semi-detached, Edwardian seafront property, adjacent to the owner’s home, gives no clue to the fantastic interior. With sea views from the entire front facing rooms, the house has been beautifully restored and furnished throughout, from the drawing room through to the contemporary living room with a state-of-the-art TV. The bedrooms are sumptuously furnished with good use of rich colours and the bathrooms are simply stunning. There are several places to eat and drink just a short stroll away in Rhos-on-Sea, whilst the sandy beach is just over the promenade. The bustling resort of Llandudno is just a few minutes’ drive away, offering a wide range of shops and entertainment at Venue Cymru theatre. It is also home to the Great Orme’s Head, accessible by street tramway, cable car – or on foot. Historic Conwy with its famous Edward I castle and town walls is well worth a visit, which, in contrast, also features the smallest house in the UK. Fresh fish is landed on the quay daily. A little further afield is the Conwy Valley and Betws-y-Coed, which offers delightful walks in the Gwydyr Forest. Beach 40 yards. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

    Roger – 25 Oct 2019
"We enjoyed a lovely week at Bryn Cadnant - ‘we’ being family of 4 generations, from great grandparents to 20 month old twins. The house is beautiful and was clean and tidy when we arrived. There was one hiccup (the main oven was not working but the owner had explained in advance and provided a small replacement with which we were happy). We didn’t use the garden much, which is not really suitable for small children. However, some of us found time to sit around the large table in the garden with refreshments on a sunny day. The location is very convenient and only minutes from the crazy golf, pubs and shops. It is also right next door to the puppet theatre where some of us enjoyed the show. We would certainly return to Bryn Cadnant but like to find different venues each year."

"This is a beautiful house, amazing quality showers and baths, full of interesting pictures, paintings and antiques I believe. It's great that quality bedding and towels are provided, great dishwasher with 35 min cycle. Stunning sea view, beach directly opposite house not so good, but a short walk to the right and it's much better. Co op nearby, water sports a 1.2 mile walk. quality old furniture shows wear, tear and staining which worried me a bit re blame, but owner was aware when we spoke. Would book again"

"24hrs before our holiday was to commence, we were contacted to say that the oven was broken and they had placed a temporary oven in the kitchen as a replacement. We were given the option to cancel, but at such a late stage and with a party of nine, we felt we had no option but to continue.Arriving at the property, it is in a great position, lovely sized rooms and clean. Outside at the rear of the property can best be described as totally neglected, over grown and nothing like the photograph in the advert. The kitchen is a disappointment and the ‘temporary ‘ oven was the size of a small microwave, not what is expected in a self catering property which has a capacity of 10+. Looking at the over would suggest that it had been there for some time as it showed signs of use. The existing ‘range’ cooker was not particularly clean and only the hob worked, sort of. Ovens are available next day from many online outlets, why it was not replaced is a mystery.Overall a nice size house, outside the garden was so overgrown it was unusable and the kitchen is a problem for anyone who wants to cook for more than two."
