  We had a great week at 8 Town Close, and we would definitely return in the future. The bungalow felt like home from home; welcoming, very clean & comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds & great showers. There are some great walks from the doorstep, from short to medium & long walks, with our favourite being across Little Hill Park, through Spout Hills and then following the paths to Letheringsett, and returning the same way rather than using the path alongside a fairly busy road. Holt Country Park is only a 20 minute walk away, and then you can follow whichever route signs depending on the amount of walking you want to do. Holt is great to explore with lots of independent shops, cafes & Bakers & Larners department store is well worth a visit, and especially the delicatessen. Both pubs are dog friendly, as are a lot of the cafes. It was a great weeks holiday, made better by having 8 Town Close to come home to in the afternoon and evening.

  If you're looking for a touch of paradise then Mill Cottage at Hamlay William will not only delight you - it will exceed your expectations.

  My wife, Emma, and myself travel extensively around the world but we've never found such an idyllic location before; quite simply, it's perfect. Set in a wooded valley, surrounded by rich woodland, Mill Cottage is a quirky but delightful and truly beautiful building - a lovingly restored water mill with luxuriously appointed accommodation arranged on three storeys complete with a babbling mill stream which cascades gently past virtually every window. There's also a tasteful terrace and patio with views up the tree-lined, wooded valley. The patrons, Mike and Belinda are as welcoming as could be desired - a friendly, outgoing pair of charming hosts. Yes, if you're searching for paradise, look no further!

  This is a great location for the area, and let’s face it a very different place to stay.

  Time of year for the location is key, soil tends to be clay and with so much rain many low areas are just bog or very slippy - nothing to do with the owners, just that weather! Property we liked - naturally with so many stairs not suitable if you're not able. There are some minor areas of improvements in the property and site but very minor and should put anyone off. Walks from the property especially the wood at the top of the hill down the valley I recommend. Many other walks in the area are good - but better when not so wet! There are many good stately homes to view nearby, any everyone in the area is friendly, but pub food serving days has been restricted in many local pubs - always best to call!

  Lovely stay!

  Nice stay for a group of friends or family or both! Beds were super comfortable, heating was easy to control, heated towel rails were great - hot tub a bonus. Just one or two basics we feel could be added and we would have given 5 stars: Great to have a washing line - some pegs would have been fab (unless we didn’t find them!) Some tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc just as basic additions in the kitchen as you wouldn’t always think of bringing those bits. Potentially a little welcome pack would be great to let people know that you guys are next door, where things are, things to do in the local area, guidelines for check out etc (eg stripping beds)

  We were greeted by the owners, Belinda and Mike, and their furry dog Ola.

  The cottage is set within such beautiful & tranquil grounds surrounded by wonderful countryside. The hamper filled with home produce was an unexpected delight. The hot tub filled with natural spring water located next to the waterfall is an experience not to miss. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and furnished to a high standard being not too far from a choice of great pubs and farm shops catering for all needs providing you are able to negotiate plenty of steps, since the cottage is set over three levels. Having spent a week at Mill Cottage, we can understand why a return visit would be on the cards. L&T
