  We had a terrific 9 day stay at Aloha Cottage in late May, we were mostly very lucky with the weather so we didn't spend a huge amount of time in the house. However the time we did spend there was extremely comfortable and we would return without hesitation. The cottage is equipped with almost everything you could need, it's very stylish and (for a quite small property) it feels very spacious. The small garden is south facing so it's a lovely little suntrap with a beautiful clematis and flowering seasonal pots. The beds were comfy, the TV was modern and large ... really it was perfect. It's a 5 minute walk from the local shops, about 15 minutes from the end of the long beach to Bamburgh (the dog was in heaven) and has a little bridle path along the back garden which was convenient for an early morning or late night walk with our dog. My only criticism is that there are rather too many air fresheners in cupboards etc as an asthmatic I had to open windows on arrival - but everyone is different and that's just my personal preference. Seahouses is a perfect base to explore Northumberland and the cottage was lovely to come home to.

  Aloha Cottage is in a very quiet area of Seahouses, within easy walking to the shops. The rear garden is sunny and secure if you are bringing your dog. This was our second stay. Northumberland is a fantastic area with lots of do and see. Sadly we no longer have our doggie friend but came back to do the things we could not last time. Saying that, the beaches are great for dogs and some of the English Heritage castles and Holy Island are dog friendly. The accommodation is very comfortable and well thought out. The kitchen is excellent and contains most things if you plan to 'self cater' and not eat out. Netflix is a good addition after long days exploring. The only complaint was the internet! I wonder whether a new router is needed as it kept switching on and off, which in turn turned the Netflix films on to pause. We would definitely recommend this property, it felt like 'coming home' on our recent stay.

  The cottage was like a show house, with all furnishings, bedding , and kitchen utilities in pristine condition. The wee back garden was a sun trap, enjoying the sun all day long. The area was very quiet, and we found the neighbours to be friendly. The bridle path at the back of the house led to a field with some beautiful horses which we enjoyed feeding carrots to. The walk into Seahouses takes about ten minutes, and there are plenty of great pubs and cafes, all serving good food, to choose from. Our best eating experience was in Craster, "The Jolly Fisherman", which serves great seafood, and if you want to forget your cholesterol count for a day, they also serve chips fried in dripping - Wonderful ! This wee cottage has given us some great memories, and we hope to return next year.

  We had a wonderful week here with our 2 young children and our dog. The location is brilliant, handy to have cafes, pubs and the co-op within a minutes walk. Apartment was clean with all the basics. The only thing we missed was a washing machine but we used a local laundy service during our stay which was a 5 minute drive away. The car park is very close by and it was handy to have the parking permit as we could use it in other carparks in Northumberland too. There were a few bits and bobs around the apartment that require fixing (broken headboard on one of the beds, loose skirting board trim) but I have detailed these seperately and we reported it to the office downstairs. Overall a good apartment. I would stay again.

  A lovely, clean, comfortable apartment, beautifully situated. The parking permit was very useful. The welcome pack was a nice touch. All the staff I met were pleasant and helpful. A few things could have been better: we would have liked a measuring jug and a casserole dish (there were lots of glasses, mugs, plates and dishes, but fewer more basic things; there was a brush, but no dust pan; I had to empty the Hoover as it was clogged; instructions for electrical equipment were either missing or in various foreign languages). The position of the apartment was even better than the info led us to believe. We really enjoyed our week, thank you, and hope we left the apartment clean and tidy. Thanks again.
