  We had an amazing time at Legge Farm Devon. The coarse fishery is superb, with well-stocked lakes that provided exciting, peaceful fishing in a beautiful countryside setting. The Lakes are perfect for both seasoned anglers and casual fishers looking to relax. The lodge accommodation was spotless, spacious, and really well-equipped — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making guests feel at home. What truly made the experience stand out were the friendly and welcoming owners. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always happy to offer tips or just have a friendly chat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful fishing getaway with top-notch hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

  I usually don’t write reviews but i absolutely had to for this place.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Swandown, we stayed in lodge number 9 which had the most amazing views. We got very lucky with the weather it was so warm, it was really nice to be able to relax outside in the jacuzzi. I do miss the Jacuzzi now I’m home. Everywhere was really clean and everything as they show it in the photos. You’re really close to a Tesco and Lidl so it’s really convenient for the weekly shop. I really enjoyed the swimming pool on the site as you can book it and you can get the pool to yourselves for 40 minutes which was so nice. It really was so peaceful there and I would definitely consider going back. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going

  Really lovely quiet location, we didn't stay here to fish, however we still loved our stay. Tracey the owner is extremely welcoming and everyone we spoke to around the place was the same. We stayed in herons lodge and it had everything you need for a few days away in the country side. A mix of holiday lodges and privately owned dotted around and there are more plots scattered ready for more lodges to be built. There are a few trails to go walking through the woods which we fully utilised with our two dogs, although couldn't go too far with my heavily pregnant wife. All in all a really lovely relaxing weekend and we would happily return again in the future.

  We loved our stay here - lodge was great, staff were really friendly and welcoming and the estate was beautiful.

  Our only small gripe was the booking system for the pool - we loved being able to book a private session but our daughter was keen to use it and so we booked a slot and organised our day around it, only to find it had been wiped off and someone else was in there during the time we’d booked (I’d taken a photo of the board as my memory is terrible so know we had originally booked it). I do wonder if possibly the wind and rain the night before had caused the booking to be wiped….could an online booking system be used maybe? Overall we did have a brilliant time and would love to return.

  Our fifth stay at Kingsland Farm and what a special stay it was- we got engaged! Kingsland and Dorset have been a place that has helped our relationship grow over the years and we are so thankful to Nick and Danette for creating our home away from home and being such great hosts! This year as well as our usual favourites of Brassica , Colmers Hill, Herbies Scallops in Lyme Regis and Furleigh Vineyard we also tried Soulshine for dinner and breakfast-which was absolutely delicious! And a takeaway delivered , so tasty from The Sundorban in Bridport - counting down to next year already!
