  On the whole the property was ok but there are a few things that need addressing. There is no information file in the property so had to text for Wi-Fi password, usually this would be in the file along with local information, departure information and requirements for bins, bedding and towels, also fire and emergency procedures and safety certificates. In the small double room the bed is not big enough for 2 average adults to have a comfortable stay, our feet touched the kick board at the bottom of the bed and we are not overly tall, also the shower in this room is far too small, not enough room to even bend down and pick up soap without burning yourself on the shower pipes. There are also no drawers to store clothes, only a hanging area. Kitchen was nice but there are no cupboards to store food as they all had pots and pans in them, also needs a toaster. The car parking at the back of property is VERY tight and you would struggle to park there if you had a large car, could also do with a sign to say which property the space is for like the other adjoining properties, also there was quite a lot of animal feaces in the parking area. Good points are the location, close to town so short walk to local amenities and close to the beach. A good sized property for a family get together or larger family.

  Smugglers was such an easy and comfortable cottage to stay in very clean and lovely decor. The location is beautiful - nestled on a little lane in some woodland - less than ten minute walk to the beach/ shops/cafes etc and so close to the coast route. There’s a nice back lane and footpath walk to Mithien - for a visit to the Miners Arms pub which is worth a visit. There is also a good bus service in the area there’s an app called first bus which shows bus times and nearby bus stops - it just makes catching buses so simple when your in a new area and it was nice to catch a bus to both Newquay and Porthreath and then walk the coast paths back in either direction. The garden was lovely and it was really helpful to have a washing machine and washing line to hang up damp wetsuits etc. it is a narrow lane up to the cottage we drove up in a VW golf and that was fine. There is an electric charging point for cars if needed which we didn’t use but it’s useful thing to access for electric or hybrid car users. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to log into. Perranporth was such a good base for coast walks, beach days and either eating in the cottage or going out for meals.. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s just a really lovely place to stay.

  Fantastic Location, Stunning Views, and a Great Base for the Beach We had a brilliant stay at this cottage. The location couldn’t be better – it was perfect for slipping into wetsuits and walking straight down to the beach, with everything we needed just a short stroll away. The view from the balcony made mornings extra special – a stunning spot to enjoy a coffee and take in the surroundings. The house was cosy and well-equipped. It might feel a bit of a squeeze if you’re using all the beds, but we managed just fine. The multiple bathrooms were a big plus and made things much easier with a group. Parking was pretty good – a little bit of juggling at times, but we always found a spot nearby. A photo of the best parking area would be a helpful addition, just to avoid any initial faff. It took us a while to figure out that the air fryer doubled as a toaster, and although the washing machine wasn’t working during our visit, we managed without. A simple welcome sheet with things like the Wi-Fi password, recycling info, and appliance tips would make a great addition. All in all, a lovely place in a fantastic spot – we’d happily come back.

  Lovely cottage, absolutely spotlessly clean on arrival.

  Thoughtful touches of a goody bag of treats for us and treats for our Westie. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday but there are a few things which could be improved upon. Not enough hanging space for clothes and the size of the drawers in the chest of drawers in the bedrooms were not of a good size for storing clothes in. Only good enough for socks, underwear etc. Internal doors need oiling as very squeaky. Nowhere in bathroom to place items. Didn’t really want to place them on the toilet and surrounding area. Not very hygienic. Just a couple of extra shelves would be great. Wash basin was way too small as you could not fill it with a lot of water as it spilt over the side and onto the floor. Boiler system noisy. Would recommend family and friends to stay here without any doubt. Treesoth Cottages is a great location very quiet and peaceful and ideally located for visiting other areas in Cornwall.

  Wow!! Valley view is a fabulous cottage

  ! We have just stayed there for a week and we all agree that it’s the best cottage we’ve ever stayed it. It feels very luxurious, the owner has thought of all the details and it is well equipped. From bottle openers to a bag of equipment for playing football, darts and tennis, literally everything has been thought of! It is set on a riding school and so my daughters loved watching the horses. We were even able to make a booking for a private riding lesson which my daughter loved! The facilities are fantastic. The family loved the swimming pool (which is warm and so clean!), the snooker room and playing in the sports hall. Evenings were spent in the private hot tub looking at the stars. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. The owners are so friendly. We were warmly greeted, showed around all the facilities and even introduced us to the riding school. We’ve had a fabulous week and will definitely return!
