Harbour Reach was presented beautifully. It is such a comfortable house with comfy furniture and beds. It was our first visit to Whitby and the location couldn’t have been better. Excellent access to the cliffs, town and parks and all within easy walking distance. Our children settled in quickly and slept perfectly every night, as did we. Great tips in the information folder but some out of date information from 2021, not a problem for us but could be updated. Whilst the cost approached £1000 we feel that it still offered excellent value for money, particularly when comparing to other area’s of the country that charge significantly more. Fantastic location for the Steps, the Abbey, the Brewery and local shops. All amenities catered for. Small beach nearby is ideal for letting your dog have a run around. Having parking included in the booking is also a great help, albeit across the bridge so you have to unpack at the cottage beforehand. For those who have not visited Whitby before, the cottage is located just off a cobbled road that in areas is only wide enough for one car therefore you may have to move your car if another comes along. I would definitely recommend this cottage for its quirkiness and location. Very cosy.

A lovely, modern clean house with comfy beds and a small secure rear garden. The house was spotless throughout, kitchen well equipped and the welcome pack with yummy goodies was a lovely touch. Both bedrooms have an en-suite which was a great added bonus and there is also a cloakroom off the hall. The house is situated on a small estate away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby but only about a 20/25 minute stroll to the centre (depending how fast you walk). Would definitely stay here again.
