  We've just had the most wonderful holiday in Sandsifters 3. The photos online were very impressive, but the reality surpassed expectations. The view of Carbis Bay is utterly beautiful, and even one week of gazing at it wasn't enough. The house was very clean on arrival, and easy to live in for a week. We really appreciated the comfortable beds, the lovely bathrooms, the laundry room and drying facilities!, the gorgeous lounge area (and the leather chair for those with weak backs was a Godsend!), and all the cooking equipment and crockery. Everything we needed for meals and even baking. As a family we loved the Cornwall puzzle, which taught us a lot about Cornish culture and traditions. I think the only thing we could have done with was a fan for the upstairs area - we were lucky it was so warm, but sometimes it got quite humid even with the balcony doors open. In saying that, when we did get too hot we retreated downstairs which was nice and cool. We had a lovely time taking the train to St Ives several times, going to the beach every day (and improving our leg strength on the walk back up the hill!), and driving several times to Godrevy for seal spotting. We ended up buying some binoculars during our stay and were able to spot seals many times. It was a fantastic holiday that really felt like a dream. Thank you again, we will be back!

  We have visited this lovely house twice in 2022, and are going again in 2023.

  These days, with accessibility fixtures no longer needing to look utilitarian, the property would benefit from discreet designer handles in the showers, especially in the smallest bedroom on the same level as the living area, which is ideal for visitors like my mother, who is 99, and who will be 100 when we visit in January. It is a shame that the rather slippery and steep staircase does not have handrails on both sides, rather than just the one, which precludes someone like my mother, who is otherwise fit and mobile, from enjoying the luxurious lower bedrooms and their sea views. Also, enough tablets to run the dishwasher each day would be appreciated.

  Property was on the whole immaculate (other than detailed below) with incredible views.

  Very well equipped too with fantastic appliances and everything you could need in the kitchen. Only a couple of issues, the drawers in the super king room were broken. The sofa is in need of a very deep clean (smells very musty and lots of stains). The pillows in the bedrooms are in desperate need of replacing, completely flat and again smell musty through the fresh bedding (which was lovely bed linen!) this does detract from the overall luxury feel of the house as you expect luxurious bedding but the pillows were really awful. Other than those few things, the house was wonderful and we will certainly be back!

  Really appreciated yet another annual week at Sandsifters III.

  This was our seveth time and we're already booked and looking forward to next year. Sould add that the improvement to the internet in the downstairs bedrooms was much appreiciated as was the replacement balcony table. A couple of recommendations: The lock and slide of the patio door is very stiff and could do with some maintenance. The drainage smell in the downstairs shower rooom is definitely worsening. Can something be done? Finally, our cleaner went above and beyond to sort out the beeping fire\carbon monoxide detctor on our arrival... very important to our sanity and sleep!   Sandsifters III is such a beautiful place to stay, I cant even describe the view it's just amazing!

  ! The house has everything you need and more, the owners have thought of everything! We had an amazing week there, and after a day sightseeing we couldn't wait to come back, sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Highly reccomed the coastal walk to St Ives, we was lucky enough to spot a seal so keep your eyes peeled! The fish shop in Carbis bay is a strong 10/10! We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future
