  Garttee Cottage was in a great location. The reason for scoring is as follows. The garden could be lovely but access is difficult so we didn’t use it. Maybe some more accessible steps and/or pretty up the front garden? The soft furnishings were okay but the sofa has seen better days! The water pressure was excellent. The cottage had everything we needed. Minimalist but we like that. One small point, you can’t check in until 5pm which seems very late considering the cost and the local shop closes at 5pm so at least leave some tea bags and milk on arrival for guests. A nice gesture or move check in to 4pm which is more usual for similar rentals. Thank you for a great stay.

  Lovely property in good location with amazing views. Very clean, tidy and airy. Be prepared for some steep climbs back up to the property if you go down to the Quay as it is not advisable to go down by car due to very narrow streets and very little parking. However, don't be put off by the steep hills as it is well worth the effort. Some stunning walks in the area. All in all, a lovely property and area!! A word of warning ......after leaving the B3359 follow the instructions given by Cornish Horizons not SatNav, otherwise you can be sent down some very narrow lanes with no passing places.

  I felt the property just missed being that something special. House felt cold and soulless. Little simple comforts missing that we have always had with other Cornish homes. Throws on the setee for cold evenings, rug by the fire with a basket of wood ready. Chair in the bedroom to put your clothes on instead of the floor. No mirror near a plug to dry your hair in the main bedroom. Impossible small shower with no escape from the water. No scones waiting after a long journey! Too much emphasis on supplying every utensil known, missing the touches that bring you back.

  Lovely cosy comfortable cottage, tucked away from it and very peaceful. Would definitely recommend it! There are two fab local pubs a few minutes walking distance away, a local shop and bakery and coffee shop virtually across the road so, everything is to hand! Polruan also has a lovely working harbour and small beach. There are also loads of amazing walks and great places to visit all nearby such as Fowey, Polperro and the costal walk is amazing which every way you go.

  This was our 15th year in Polruan and our first year in Lentino. Lovely property, great position and views. Lovely to find tea, milk and biscuits waiting. Outside spaces include a grassed area at the front to sit/eat admire view, plus a rare car parking space. Area to the rear to hang washing. Inside all the essentials are there: great bathroom and kitchen facilities and large rooms. All areas quite clean and everything looks freshly painted and well maintained.
