  No 14 is an absolutely gorgeous property and the photos don't do it justice! We stayed for a week the end of May and it was an amazing way to enjoy the covid restrictions lift and spend time with my parents and partner. If you have small children this isn’t ideal as garden is steep and not alot for them to be able to do as balcony is upstairs (upside down house) for friends and family I couldn’t recommend enough! The property had everything we needed and the views were just spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by and was very relaxing and if the weather isn’t great the huge sofa was a great place to still see all the comings and goings of the river. Take binoculars as we really enjoyed looking out and into the distance We used the passenger Ferry to Fowey which was very quick and felt very safe We also got the car ferry from Bodinnick which again was very efficient and safe. Went to Fowey Hall Hotel for a spa day which was lovely and could see No 14 across the River and would recommend as a treat for the day, had lunch on the terrace looking out to sea. Polperro was a short drive away too and a lovely place to visit. We ate at the Lugger in Polruan and it was lovely, food and staff were fab so worth a trip if you can drag yourself away from the balcony! The walk back to the property is a bit of a steep one so be prepared it will get your pulse going! There is a small shop in Polruan about 5 mins walk and is well stocked but tiny and only one person allowed at a time! There is another pub and a bakery/ tea room and a small gift/ bits a bob shop on the front but thats it in the village really but we didn’t want for anything else and Fowey has lots so can always get the Ferry. There are lots of walks to do and the area is beautiful. Lantic bay is a must and the Polruan circular walk too. Beds were comfortable, bathroom and showers were great, Kitchen well stocked, fab Webber bbq, plenty of cupboards free, second wine fridge as under counter fridge and separate under counter freezer. Great utility room that was perfect to put coats and wellies etc and if you have a dog there is the shower in there too! We did an online tesco shop that was delivered the Saturday we got there and had no issues with the delivery so would recommend doing this as the nearest big supermarket is a bit of a drive away. Booking and service from Cornish Horizons was great and had a call from them whilst we were there to check everything was ok which was lovely. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend

  Firstly, we were so taken with the view, this lead us to just relaxing rather than putting on the tv. What a beautiful house, so well equipped and easy to relax in. We came to walk the south west coastline and were not disappointed. Polperro to Polruan is challenging, exhilerating and so worthwhile. The hall walk is great and we extended it to become a 10 miles walk around the coastline. There is so much to do, the lost gardens of heligan was a great day out and everything can be done via bus routes with a bit of planning. The lugger is a great pub, the local shop and bakery provide practically everything. Thank you

  The holiday home was beautiful, clean, well equipped. The beds where comfortable, bath towels big . Netflix provided too if you could take your eyes off the amazing views to watch tv . The property had everything included you could need for relaxing break. Lots of books and games plus local information on area . A coffee machine and washing machine too a real bonus . Paid Parking only 5 mins away . Good access to walks along the southwest path again 5 mins walk . You could sit and watch the views of the harbour fall of boats and fowey from main bedroom and living area. Didn’t want to leave.

  The views of the Atlantic from the living room and 2 main bedrooms are amazing. We sat and watched the boats and yachts every day. It was very comfortable and had everything you could want or need from a holiday home. We visited Looe on a number of occasions and found walkways we didn't know existed from previous holidays, one by the coast overlooking Looe Island. Polperro is also well worth a visit. You have to park outside and walk into the village as it's too small for traffic. Overall a lovely house and we would definitely consider rebooking.

  This property is set in a perfect position high above the Fowey estuary with a 180 degree view of Fowey and the surrounding countryside. The beautifully maintained terraced garden has seating areas and there is a large balcony directly off bifold doors leading from the kitchen living area. Everything is well equipped and comfortable and nothing is left wanting. Meticulous attention to detail in the presentation and cleanliness of the property on arrival including a few dairy essentials in the fridge.
