What our customers say about their holidays

Finding the cottage was , for me , a little difficult as the roads are narrow , winding and obviously very steep .
This wasn't helped by roadworks in the village and a diversion ,which we was informed of by the owners . I was also told that the post code covers two farms . I did end up at the first one ! Which really knocked my confidence as the road was treacherous to me ! However I did later notice that the name of the farm was at the entrance on the Top road . Tbh it was a very small one as is the one for Hendre cottages which is the next one . Very steep descent from the road , I found really scary to the point I thought thar i would not be able to drive back out . I did and I soon got use to it . The cottage I'd beautiful , clean & cosy . Tge bed very cozy. Couldn't fault the cottage I don't think the storage heaters will suffice on really cold nights. There are lots of leaflets and info in the table drawer although some very out of date . ( a few maps of the local area would have been good for me ) It is an ideal location to take of visiting places , Conwy , Abergele , Llandudno, are within 40 minutes we visited loads of places . Found the fairy Glenn had a wild sw here.. Lots more to explore we ran out of time . I actually enjoyed the driving of the country lanes , hills .. so much so we had s drive onto the moors which was well worth it . The views are stunning ! We didn't want to leave . All in all a fantastic stay . The host even left a chocolate cake for us , Thank You x

How do you praise such a week?
We have stayed in some really good cottages and apartments over the years but âBluebellâ beats them all, the comfort and cleanliness were exceptional, from the welcome pack of bread butter jam etc down to extra toilet rolls and even toothbrushes, as well as its own dishwasher, it even had a frying pan that it was possible to fry an egg in without it sticking to it, that really was a first. The outside areas complete with furniture were perfect for relaxing with other guests on site. Jane and Anthony are marvellous hosts who canât do enough for you, including helping to start our car when the battery died. Canât recommend the accommodation and the hosts highly enough We will certainly be returning.

This is an outstanding property with everything you could wish for.
The location is ideal for exploring the south Pembrokeshire coast, or just walking out the door and down the lanes to the beach or delightful village of Manorbier. The interior is of a very high standard, whilst the thoughtful touches of bread/butter/milk/toiletries were a (surprising and) lovely touch. The owners were on hand to answer questions, check we were comfy (when an Atlantic storm blew through they came to check on us) and took the time to ask if there was anything that needed improvement. The further works planned for the site will enhance it even further and we will definitely be back. Hands down the best cottage weâve stayed at in the past 15 years for quality/care and attention to detail for the price. Thanks for a great stay.

We were reassured about our booking from our arrival.
The comfortable outdoor furniture in the secluded courtyard between the cottages was welcome after being out and about that first day. There was a generous food provision when we went inside - a full fruit bowl and essentials - a nice fresh loaf, milk, butter and jam (we donât take these for granted - some places donât provide anything). The sign of a good holiday property is that you are able to relax when you find the information you have been provided with beforehand is accurate and complete. That was certainly the case here. Meeting the owners was also nice - itâs reassuring that they live on the premises (many donât). Our acid test is âwould we come againâ. That gets a resounding âyesâ - weâre just not sure how soon.

Not your issue but my SAT NAV sent me down Avallon Avenue rather than Queens Road.
which is the next (correct road) Premises 1.Overall, very good, probably exceed my expectations. 2.only issue we had was learning how to open the kitchen back door. (basically you had to insert they key, push the door and turn the key at the same time, rather than insert and turn the key. Notes left by the owner. 1.Very good & useful. particular on eating out, we tried both recommendations, both very good. Location, although a secluded location the local and street lighting enabled us to confidently leave and come back well after sunset.
