  Lovely apartment to stay in; we all enjoyed it very much. Light & airy, spacious, clean & with all the mod cons’; very high spec apartment! Just a couple of things to note: •The accuracy of the off street parking. We were unsure where it was. We tried the first gate/entrance and couldn’t get in. Tried the code we’d been given many times but obviously it didnt work as it wasn’t the correct entrance! Wasted time and was stressful as we didn’t know what to do. Until, after a while, we then realised the was another entrance. Also code for building was different too to the one you gave us. •My parent’s shower in their bedroom didn’t work at all during our stay. We tried to work why on a few occasions but then they had to use our bathroom, as the water was going from burning hot to freezing cold; which was a real shame as it was a bit of a treat for them as they don’t have one at home. So that was a bit of a let down. •On the first morning of our stay I was enjoying the beautiful view and was then sprayed by the window cleaner who didn’t call a warning to say he/she was cleaning the balcony windows. I was soaked and it went into my eye. Very glad that the water didn’t have cleaning fluid in it otherwise it would have been a trip to A&E for me! Might be an idea for them to do it earlier in the morning or when there isn't anyone staying there! •Just so you’re aware - one of the screws has come out of the railings overlooking the beach so is quite loose. •A suggestion for more instructions about how to use things would be great also. The flat became very warm at times and we tried to lower the heating or even try and put air con on to no avail so we ended up just turning it off (once we knew how!) so would be good to have instructions for that plus the oven/microwave/hob! If it was just my parents staying there they wouldn’t have had a clue how to use anything! The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils crockery cutlery etc and we enjoyed some lovely meals together at the dining table. The view was absolutely fantastic and we had the best weather all week. I would come back for that view alone! Just one more thing to add, when I opened the oven door for the first time something ‘fell out’ of underneath the door, almost as if it had been balanced in there.   Myself, husband and dog had a such a great week at Fistral Drift.

  Loved the communication from Jane & Michelle via email & what's app with all the info we needed to access the property and about the surrounding area etc. We parked in the Council car park 5 minutes walk from the property and Jane paid for our weekly Rover permit which was fantastic, permit can be used across other certain car parks but we didn't use our car the whole stay. Garden was lovely, our dog spent most of his time lazing out there & we enjoyed the views across to Fistral Beach from the bench seat! Location was great for us, 10 minute walk to Fistral Beach & coastal path or 10 minutes in the other direction to shops, pubs etc. They have thought of everything in the property, firstly a fabulous welcome pack on arrival which included tea bags, coffee pods, cider, biscuits, chocolate & even dog treats! Also milk in the fridge for us, hand washes, kitchen really well equipped (stayed in many properties where its pretty basic) and the bathroom is lovely with an amazing shower! Honestly they have literally thought of everything at Fistral Drift & I could go on & on so finally will just say I would recommend it to anyone.

  We had a lovely week in this apartment.

  It was well furnished, with nice homely touches, that really made it feel like home rather than a holiday let. If we were being super picky, it would have been good to have had a colander rather than just a tiny sieve and a measuring jug, we of course found a solution to this and it just goes to highlight how good we found this place if these were the only very slight negatives. The views over the golf course and to the sea were lovely and it was great to just sit back, relax and take it all in. As well as being very close to the beach it is just a short walk to the town, but far enough away not to be disturbed. There was some occasional noise at night from people coming back from the beach bars/restaurants on the road outside but even this could not detract from our enjoyment. In another review the underground tight parking space was mentioned, it is tight but we have a large 4 x 4 and managed to park with relative ease. If we go back to Newquay and it was available, we would definitely book this apartment again, assuming of course that the price does not increase too dramatically after this review

  Just returned from a wonderful week in this fantastic apartment.

  The underground carpark was a godsend as it was torrential rain and high winds when we arrived, so able to unload and stay dry. Not sure how you could turn your car if all the spaces were occupied though. Very comfortable furniture and beds, great bathrooms & kitchen, big tv in lounge plus tv’s in bedrooms, large dining table. It has 2 balconies, the larger one off the lounge has comfortable furniture to sit out on. It has amazing views of Fistral beach, the golf course and Pentire headland, perfect for eating your breakfast on and watching the amazing sunsets at night. You can even watch the surfers from the balconies. Perfect location close to beaches, headland walks and restaurants on the doorstep. We only had one problem during our stay which we reported and that was sorted out the following day, brilliant. Just needs a bit more info about the location of the bins outside as we couldn’t find them and had to contact the owner. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would be very happy to stay there again. Didn’t want to leave.

  This was our 2nd stay at the property.

  It perfectly suits our needs. Pleased the large "spotlight" has been replaced with a smaller light. Lovely to have the basics such as hand wash etc. The doors on the main ensuite bedroom didn't open which was a shame as it was very hot the weekend we got there. It was extremely windy one night and as per peoples comments, I assume an air vent lid at rear of kitchen flapping and banging all night disturbed the dog, so may have been noise from him unfortunately that night as he was scared. The egg chair didn't work for us (sure great for others!), but still enough room on the balcony for us to sit out and watch the golfers and the world go by. We left the recycling contents in the bins in the apartment, as the instructions weren't too clear on whether to remove from the bins or leave in, so if we got this wrong I apologise. We have stayed on Headland Road a few times and this is by far the best apartment to date hence the re-visit. No negatives, just a wonderful much needed break away and I'm sure we will be back.
