  Our stay at this holiday apartment was truly exceptional!

  The host's attention to detail was incredible, especially when it came to the food. She thoughtfully provided a starter pack that included milk, bread, cereal, butter, and some lovely marmalade, making us feel so welcome right from the start. She also added a lovely touch with fresh flowers in the apartment. On top of that, she was amazing with our little boy and even offered to help with our bags when we arrived—a kind and thoughtful gesture that really made a difference. The apartment itself was lovely, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. But what really stood out was the breathtaking view of the beach—we could gaze at it all day! The beach is right opposite the apartment, making it a perfect location for beach lovers like us. Blyth Beach was fantastic, and The Breeze Lounge is a gem, offering fabulous service, delicious food, and great coffee. We also took a boat trip to the Holy Islands, which was another highlight of our trip. Our entire family loved every bit of our stay, and we highly recommend this apartment to others. We can't wait to come back again!

  Stayed with Coquet Cottages many times over the years and they never disappoint. First time to Lane End – small but perfectly formed – the girls certainly enjoyed their early morning and evening walks by the river. So, many birds with their babies, the swans with their 8 strong brood, the herons, so many ducklings. Very lucky with the weather, we visited Beadnell and enjoyed a late lunch at The Landing – the Burger is recommended! We also did Alnomuth beach and walked into the village to visit Scotts Deli & picked up some Hepple Gin and a coffee with a Portuguese tart to enjoy. Druridge Bay is another lovely beach and park. Then we made our way to Amble to get the girl’s treats from the pod! Rounded off with a nice glass of wine and fish and chips at The Old Boat House followed by ice creams all around at Spurrelli’s. Can’t wait to come back in September.

  First of all we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful location. We saw a heron on our first day and a graceful pair of swans glided past as we walked the dog along the riverside. Really delighted with the cottage, all of the ‘little extras’ make such a difference and the biscuits went down a treat! The high standard and quality of furniture, bedding, towels, etc. was exceptional. We’ve had a wonderful week here, Warkworth beach is beautiful, the pubs and restaurants very good, the Sun Hotel is good value for money and Topsy Turvey is great for lunch. We will most certainly be back. Thanks again Julie for a wonderful week.

  Where to start? The location was just perfect and the cottage was beautifully presented with every little detail thought through. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the welcome basket which included the basics such as bread, milk and butter. The dog welcome basket was very useful. This was our third holiday with Coquet Cottages and the standard you have set has thoroughly spoiled us. I have tried in vain to find a similar company covering other areas of the country. Luckily we adore Northumberland and will certainly book through you again!

  We have stayed in a few cottages over the years but Lane End surpasses them all. Attention to detail is exceptional, decor is outstanding, welcome hamper for dogs is a lovely gesture and our hamper had so many delicious biscuits with bread, milk, cheese and butter in the fridge. You have thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Our 2 dogs’ loved the walks along the river, so beautiful. Perfect location for places to eat, Warkworth is such a lovely place. Loved being here so much we have booked again for later in the year.
