What our customers say about their holidays
Mrs Jackson - Verified booking
I had actual goosebumps when we arrived at Robin Hood Cottage in Little Walsingham. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear we were somewhere truly special. It felt like walking into the pages of a beautiful interiors magazine—only better, because we got to stay the night (and then some). We stayed for a family reunion, and honestly, none of us wanted to leave—there were even whispers of chaining ourselves to the Aga. The interior is absolutely stunning—think Soho House meets Firmdale Hotels, with a dash of countryside chic. Every room is thoughtfully styled, blending vintage charm with modern luxury in a way that makes you wonder if the owners moonlight as interior designers for glossy magazines. The beds are enormous and dangerously comfortable—you may find yourself accidentally napping through dinner plans. Wrapped in sumptuous linens and fluffy towels, we felt like we were staying in a very stylish cloud. Our hosts were wonderful—friendly, responsive, and the kind of people who clearly care deeply about the guest experience. The welcome pack was incredibly generous and every little detail inside the house is curated with love and intention, right down to the heavenly scents floating through each room. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden is a dream—perfect for sipping wine by the fire pit or showing off your BBQ skills (or pretending you know how to light one). There’s even a lawned area beyond where kids can play. Little Walsingham itself is like stepping into a postcard. A picturesque and peaceful village steeped in history, with medieval architecture, a rich pilgrimage past, and that lovely, slow pace of life that makes you want to ditch your phone and go full Jane Austen. It’s also perfectly placed for exploring the best of North Norfolk, from windswept beaches and salt marshes to quaint towns and excellent pubs. All in all, Robin Hood Cottage is a magical gem—we laughed, we feasted, we relaxed, and we’re already plotting our return.

We had three generations of our family staying at Field Piece Cottage for a long weekend in November 24. The property was as expected, in particular the large open plan receptions rooms downstairs were well appointed and ideal for our group. The kitchen is well equipped and enabled us to cater for ourselves on Saturday evening. The beds were comfortable, however the two bedrooms in the top level dormer roof space, needed care when walking around due to the varying height levels. In pre-arrival dialogue with NH's we had requested that a travel cot, high chair and stair gate be available for us on arrival. After realising the high chair was not in the property, a quick call to the office resulted in one of their people dropping off what was missing within an hour of us asking, which was much appreciated.Overall a good weekend was had by all with Burnham Market and the local North Norfolk coastline, proving to be the star of the show.

Wonderful venue with plenty of quality equipment. Top quality fixtures and fittings, warm and comfortable for our Spring break. Delightful gardens and grounds all maintained to highest standard we loved the daffodils and blossom trees and the excellent walks right from the backdoor. Pity there is no prior mention of the many steep steps within the property which presented difficulty for a couple of our elderly group. Our party of 9 over 70's found it especially challenging on entering the kitchen from the main dinning room with no handrails. We felt this is a hazard for older visitors and young children and should be mentioned in your details. We will certainly use your company again, who were very efficient and helpful, especially due to the challenges of Covid-19 lockdowns which forced several changes to schedules.

“This was our second stay and we have booked again for next year. It is so lovely to see the sea in all its moods from the huge windows. There is all the crockery, cutlery and pans that you could wish for when catering for a large family group a roomy fridge-freezer and six burner stove. In October parking is not a problem but it might be awkward in high season of you have more than two vehicles. Access from the car park might be a problem for those with limited mobility, I walk with a stick and managed easily. The staircases are steep but manageable with care. The owners are generous with consumables such as toilet rolls and detergents for washing machine and dishwasher.<br /> ”
