  Absolutely stunning place and perfect location, took two goes round the block to find it as kept missing turning, on arrival lovely home made scones and Jam and cream and milk for a coffee thankyou so much was a lovely thoughtful gesture to do after a long journey to get here ,the whole house is amazing and we didnt want to leave ,wish I'd booked longer ,next time will do ,hot tub was lovely for my daughter when it worked might need a little attention as few times kept cutting out ,first few days of using it ,but she enjoyed it ,after a long walk in the day visiting places ,only other thing would be the shower is definitely better in room with the patio doors, it's amazing ,other one doesn't drain to good ,but wasnt a problem ,as they just used mine ,beautiful place ,could wake up here every morning, beds are very comfy ,we had lovely weather which was a bonus ,everything we needed was here two keys would be ideal if going separate ways but guessing that's why the key safe there also ,but a lot of people don't like using them so that could be an idea ,our daughter lives here now to in Crantock so not far away ,so was ideal for us to be in Newquay, can't wait to visit again ,once again thankyou so much for making our stay even better by having a lovely place to come home to after a long day ,see you soon we will be back regards Karen Steven and Charlotte and Paris

  My wife and I have just spent a thoroughly enjoyable fortnight's stay at the cottage.

  On arrival we found the property extremely well prepared with welcoming gifts of bottles of Cornish cider, chocolates and cream teas. On the second day, Steve the owner, came to check that we were settled in okay and that everything was to our satisfaction. I am 81 years old and use crutches and I mentioned that I had difficulty with the one step leading to the front door. On returning from our day out I found that he had installed a small ramp to make it easier for me. I was amazed at such a level of consideration. It made all the difference to our holiday and showed a level of service far beyond what I would normally expect. The Hot Tub was discreetly enclosed for privacy and my wife enjoyed a relaxing soak each morning. At the end of the first week Steve asked if we would like the cleaner to come in and change the bedlinen and towels. I thought that this was a very nice touch as at other places we have spent a fortnight in we have had to make do with the original towels and bedlinen for the entire stay. The location of the cottage makes access to both the North and South coasts easy. If you fancy dining out the local pub/restaurant Lanivet Inn is one and a half miles away and serves excellent food at reasonable prices. We dined there four times during our stay. In summary I would highly recommend Rosewarrick Cottage as the perfect hideaway for a relaxing holiday.

  We had a lovely week at An Drowes in June 2023 and would highly recommend.

  The property was spotlessly clean upon arrival and we were very impressed with the quality of furnishings and facilities. Everything feels brand new! We also thought the hand written card and freshly baked scones upon arrival were a personal touch. Location is great for access to the town and beaches as well as exploring other areas of Cornwall. You also have lots of choice nearby for food as well as several supermarkets. The only downside to our stay (which was quickly rectified) is that we noticed on arrival that the hot tub water was green in colour rather than clear/blue with a very strong chemical smell. We didn’t think anything of this and also didn’t want to complain, but unfortunately after the first use two of our party had experienced a burning sensation and rash on their back and legs immediately after coming out of the water and after the second day and use we all had the same. We notified this to the owner and on the same day the hot tub water was replaced with crystal clear water and we didn’t experience any further issues. Despite the small issue as it was handled quickly and as it didn’t spoil our stay, we would highly recommend choosing this property and would revisit again in the future when deciding to stay in Newquay.   We had an amazing break at Sea Sands in March 2022.

  The property is amazing and the photos don’t quite do it justice. The view from the living room and master bedroom is breathtaking and the careful details in the design of the building and layout truly make this special. We had no problems with our stay at all, however the owner Gina was very friendly providing all of the relevant information needed for our stay prior to visiting. The accommodation itself was modern and sleek but still kept its homely and comfortable feel. The property is airy and bright and the furnishings are high quality. Peaceful and natural surroundings brought a feeling of calm throughout the entire week, especially looking out to such a wonderful view of the sea. The hot tub was brilliant, including the outside hot shower which is a blessing in winter months. High quality towels and bedding provided, along side toiletries and a lovely welcome pack which is a really nice touch. There is everything you can think of regarding cooking equipment and this was the highest standard of any property we have stayed in. I can’t speak highly enough of this property and would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the Cornish coast.

  Sea Sands is beautiful, luxurious and comfortable.

  It has everything you could need and it offers magnificent unobstructed views across the Celtic Sea! A spectator sport is to watch the shipping, air traffic or the wait to spot sea life with your binoculars. The sky at night is also a beautiful sight with the Milky Way right above you. Watch out too for the space station and star link satellite train if the clear skies permit. It is minutes away from the beautiful beach where the surfers love to play and at the permitted time of year the dogs can also roam. Praa Sands is lovely, a small place with few shops and pubs but what it's got is more than enough if you like simplicity, some pub grub, and the freshest sea air while you sip your favourite tipple. Gina (property owner) keeps a watchful eye on the standard you should expect on arrival and mid-way and was quick to sort a few minor issues. She is friendly and very helpful. All together a wonderful holiday destination and we hope to be back very soon. :-)
