What our customers say about their holidays

Our Weeks stay at Ty Conwy was a comfortable stay, The decor was very well done.
It was a nice staging post for seeing the sites around parts of North Wales & the hot tub at the property was a real bonus & a great thing to have. We did have a couple of issues, we had trouble with the tv, netflicks stopped working & we could not get the BBC channels, I called the owner, Adam & he told me a previous guest back in July had messed up the system, he did tell me how to fix the problem, I filled his instructions, but for me they did not work, so it was a bit of inconvenience, but I did have my own netflicks on my laptop so we could watch it through the tv & we could watch the BBC channels through the BBC Iplayer. All the windows in the house could have done with a good clean, especially the front one in the lounge as the dirt was highlighted when the sun came around in the late afternoon, there were also cobwebs on the outside & inside of the patio doors & cobwebs on the back of the dining table on the left-hand side & they had all been there for a while, so that was a bit of a letdown

This cottage is by far the loveliest weâve stayed in as a family.
Isolated (be prepared for very narrow roads in places) and yet good connections to the most beautiful rural area, pretty villages and market towns. Surrounded by wildlife, birds, red kites hunting overhead, cows, bunnies and stunning views. The house was very comfortable, wifi worked well for us and we had no issues with mobile phone signal (O2). For an open, sociable space it felt very nooky and we all loved the private hot tub with a view and amazing for star gazing on clear nights. We received a lovely welcome from the owner and then we were left to it which suited us. We loved Ludlow, walked the market town and the castle perimeter and discover the weir where the children paddled. Hoo Zoo was great for the kids (9 & 6) and we absolutely loved Blists Hill Victorian Town, the BEST fish n chips weâve ever had, a Victorian dress up and photo and the stunning area of Ironbridge. Weâd have easily stayed longer than a week and wouldnât hesitate to visit again.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend beautiful brylikky!
Everything was perfect, the cottage was immaculate and so cosy and comfortable. The flowers and cake on arrival were a lovely touch from the wonderful hosts Emma and Edward. Emma was so lovely when I contacted her before our stay for recommendations for a meal for birthday celebrations. The cottage is in a lovely situation in the hills with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Emma was kind enough to take us and our grandchildren (staying nearby) to see the piglets that had not long been born and also some baby chick's, the kids loved this experience. Emma was also kind enough to allow them to stay with us one night for a sleepover (the kids not the chick's!) The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a day spent exploring and a great place to star gaze. The skies were amazingly clear with no streetlights to spoil the view! All in all a fabulous stay, we definitely hope to return in the future! Thank you so much Emma! X

We found our stay at the cottage to be very average.
The main concern we had was the cleanliness of the cottage- dirty floors, thick amounts of dust under chairs and tables, windows that dirty you canât even see out, hairs in the bathroom. My dog found a old ball under the bed- so it was obvious that it had not been cleaned. It was clear that the obvious had been cleaned on the top surface but the cottage needed a very deep clean and a maintenance update- we spent 10 minutes trying to fit the keys in the safe box! We found the mattresses was very uncomfortable also, which made our sleep very disturbed. The hot tub was a nice feature, but our towels became black from the dirt on the floor and the thick cobwebs in the room was a little of putting. The cottage could have a lot of potential, because the location is perfect but for the price that we paid it needs a lot of work doing to be happy with the stay.

What a fabulous place, everything we could have wished for! Stunningly clean well furnished and a fully equipped kitchen - thank you! We have a 2 year old so bare with the recommendations. Dolphin watching at New Quay - we took a boat trip and the guide was very knowledgeable, saw more dolphins from the shore that day but still we loved it! Leisure centre for swimming (toddler session but also they have a large water slide) - Machynlleth. Also by the leisure centre in Machynlleth is a great park, walks, gardens and cafes. Aberystwyth - the castle and castle park and the great park just off the southgate round about by the community centre. Aberdyfi beach, well worth the short drive, great sandy beach, toilets near and fish and chips. We really recommend Ynyslas and Borth for lovely views and walks. Thanks for a perfect stay!
