  Loveday is the perfect place to stay on a trip to Cornwall. The apartment is located on a lovely quiet street just a stones throw from the beach in the lovely Porthleven; in fact you can enjoy your morning coffee with beautiful sea views and plan your day ahead. It is also only a very short stroll to the harbour where you can visit the local pubs, eateries and shops, or just watch the world go by. The apartment has everything you need inside; you really won’t want for anything. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can easily cook a family meal, then simply load up the dishwasher afterwards. Loveday really feels like a home from home, bright and spacious with comfortable beds, great showers and finishing touches that make the apartment a step up from others - and the washing-line and outside space are a godsend if you have children! I can’t recommend a stay at Loveday enough.

  We had a great stay at Loveday apartment. It is a lovely flat with gorgeous sea views from the living room and when sitting out on the small balcony. The two main bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathroom and ensuite shower room were finished to a high standard and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There is a well equipped kitchen area. The flat is right by the beach and it is less than five minutes’ walk to the centre of Porthleven, which has a wide range of good restaurants and a number of pleasant pubs around the harbour area. The flat comes with allocated parking, although it is better to access the flat via Shrubberies Hill and Cooper Lane as the middle of Porthleven is very narrow, crowded and includes some tight turns. We had a great stay in Porthleven and hope to return again to the area soon. We would definitely stay at Loveday again.

  Firstly, we pulled into the car park outside the property, we noticed that it was seconds away from the beach but most of all the view across not only the water but also across the apartments and homes which was just incredible. Secondly, the apartment was so clean, with instructions on everything of how to access bins, garden, etc. beds were super comfy and the sofas were positioned perfectly for tv and view of ocean which we loved! We found that the heating was good because it kept our clothes dry from when we went swimming/ wave watching. The en-suite shower was amazing really hot and powerful. Overall would come back and I do recommend to others who would want to come to Porthleven.

  This is our second time staying at quayside, and you can't really get a better constant view in the harbour and location, especially for included parking space too. You get a nice welcome pack and there's nothing I can think of that isn't available to use in terms of utensils. A couple of items(microwave/washing machine) have seen better days and could do with an update. But won't massively affect most customers stay, we have a newborn however so did need those things for clothes and sterilising. That being said we would still return here again and we finally got to see a bit of a storm here in porthleven which is good to watch from the safety of the property.

  A large thank you to all involved at Above Beach Cottages. We all agreed that Loveday did not just meet our expectations but surpassed them. The apartment had everything we needed in facilities and more, and also provided us with everything we needed to make this a special place to be for me wife's birthday (which we will never forget). I also took advantage of your endorsement of A Piece of Cake and arranged for a cake to be made and devliered by Sara Nesbit. Sara did a fantastic job. The cake was beautiful inside and out, my wife was over the moon with her surprise. Thank you all again, and keep up the good work.
