  The cottage was lovely and as described.

  It is well maintained, clean and well stocked with glasses, mugs, utensils etc and we were kindly left some goodies and tea/coffee was provided. Would be lovely to visit in the summer and take advantage of the large garden. Unfortunately the wifi was down for the duration of our stay. The owner did try to rectify this and kept in communication, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed until we left and also meant no access to TV due to the set-up. It did impact our visit as we were all on the same mobile network and had very little signal, which made communication with family we were visiting more difficult. Would recommend Luke's taxi's from Downham Market who helped us with travel while we were there.

  We absolutely loved our stay here. Chiffchaff Cottage is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, cosy, welcoming with everything you could possibly need. The flowers, wine and granola was a lovely thoughtful touch. There are so many things we loved... the luxurious towels, the comfy bed, the downstairs toilet, the sun/garden room, especially sitting outside in the sunshine in your beautiful enclosed garden, our two dogs were so happy and safe. Our highlights were our trips to the beach and woods at Wells-next-the-Sea, Holt, walks in the village and a lovely meal at The Dabbling Duck, which is dog friendly! Thank you so much for a relaxing week, it's just what we needed.

  We loved our stay! The property has a really fun vibe. We enjoyed the summer house at the end of a sunny day with the old children’s annuals. The house had the most incredible collection of elephant art - pictures and artefacts. We kept coming across more. An enjoyable activity on a rainy day would be counting them all. Good facilities at the Mews included an easy to use kitchen. Wells-next-the-sea is great fun. We walked on the coastal path several times. We enjoyed Holkham, Houghton Hall and Felbrigg NT. We had a lovely meal at the Crown next door and bought fish and Chips from French’s on the harbour. Would be happy to return.

  We really enjoyed our little mini break.

  The garden was brilliant as we were just reconnecting as a family and spent most of our time relaxing together. The cottage was lovely and comfortable with all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Emma the host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. And we loved the little treats left for our arrival. We enjoyed a walk from the cottage to Denver Sluice. I arranged for a food delivery from the Morrison’s which was really handy as it arrived the day we did. So there was no worry about finding food shops and we enjoyed a takeaway. The cottage is in a convenient location for a pleasant stay.

  Very comfortable and had all we needed in a holiday home. Heating worked very well, our stay was at the end of March and the weather was still a bit chilly, but luckily no rain, and it was always nice and warm indoors . There’s also and electric log burner effect fire in the lounge if needed for extra warmth. The view from patio doors in the lounge was stunning. There is an uninterrupted view of the river Yare. no cars parked to spoil the view,It was so relaxing just watching the boats going by while having a coffee or even a glass of wine either on the patio, weather permitting, or in the lounge.
