Adjacent to the owner’s home and set in a lovely country setting with views, walking and cycling, the property is ideally suited for visiting and exploring the many attractions in this wonderful part of Dorset. Within easy driving distances, enjoy family days out to Monkey World, The Bovington Tank Museum, Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth or the fascinating Weymouth Sea Life with its adventure park and tower, or simply enjoy the scenic beauty and coastal walking to be found at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on the Heritage coast. Beach 13 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

"S19654 is a very well appointed cottage with all the facilities you could possibly want. The setting is peaceful with lovely views across fields and set far back from the road. It is lovely to have sheep in front in an adjacent field and chicken and ducks wandering around the main house. The owners leave an impressive welcome pack of local bacon, eggs, local butter, bread, fruit juice, wine and cake. And are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for an excellent holiday."

"Beautiful, clean, well equipped cottage with stunning views. Set in quiet countryside with just the geese, ducks, chickens, deer and buzzards for company. We had a lovely welcome from Lynn who was there to greet us and show us around the property. She also provided a very comprehensive welcome pack! The cottage is situated about half an hour from beautiful sandy beaches and within walking distance of two fantastic pubs. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We hope to return soon."

"A lovely cottage, very comfortable and spacious. The conservatory and decking are perfect for relaxing and looking at the views, and watching the chickens, ducks and geese!No problem at all with access to the property for anyone with mobility problems. As explained by the owner immediately on arrival, we were able to drive up the track a little bit and then walk across the grass to enter through the front door. Once inside it is all on one level and very easy to get around.A very nice welcome pack which was much appreciated, and Lynne was always very helpful and friendly. Would definitely love to go back!"

"We have stayed at quite a few self catering properties in the UK and we feel that S19654 has been the best. Everything you could want , for your holiday ,is provided . All the equipment for cooking is of a high standard. The bungalow is spacious and clean and we felt we could live there permanently. The view is stunning ,looking over fields and treeline in the distance. If you are reading on the sun deck there is a distant hum from the traffic on the A31 but it is not obtrusive and you soon hardly notice it. To our surprise the owner left us a welcome pack of goodies ,the like of which we had never previously experienced. It was a really thoughtful gesture and we certainly appreciated it. There are chickens, ducks, geese and cats roaming around the garden and they were a welcome source of entertainment and a joy to watch.We had a wonderful week at S19654 and really wished we could have stayed longer."

"A great start to the holiday we were greeted at the door by Lynn the owner, she showed us around, and left us with a generous gift package.The drive which is a farm track ( drive in 1st gear slowly) leads from a main road to a gorgeous bungalow, with views across the fields. We had a comfy stay, it had everything we needed and Lynn was happy to help if needed. The cottage was large with plenty of rooms to spread out in. There were plenty of lighting options in the lounge so we were both happy. There are plenty of leaflets for ideas on places to go and close enough to a main road to go to do some sight seeing and of course fossil hunting on the Jurassic coast."

"Nice spacious property - with the amenities all on one level. However, the slope and steps up to the door are NOT suitable for anyone with mobility problems, or small children. This access difficulty spoilt the entire holiday."

"Well-equipped, homely, very spacious bungalow. Quiet rural setting with lovely views and friendly owners. Accessed via a lane with a lot of pot holes which luckily our car was high enough to clear although the lane around the fields was not a problem. Had snow for 2 days when we were there but still managed to get out and about - the owners kept us supplied with logs for the log burner. Left the property early because the boiler was not working properly so we had no hot water for 4 days. Owners offered use of their facilities but they have a lot of cats and I am allergic to cats so this was not a temporary option. Apart from this one blip the property was better that the photos - there is also a large conservatory and decking when the weather permits. If the conservatory was heated this would make a lovely second sitting room as it has amazing views."
