Refurbished to a high standard the cottage offers superb accommodation and enjoys a wealth of original features including exposed beams and trusses and a stone flagged floor in the kitchen. These are complemented by contemporary furnishings including a luxury leather curved sofa, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring, and the king-size brass bed with mattress topper, to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The wood burner in the living room adds to the homely charm of the cottage.

The cottage also offers Wi-Fi within the weekly rental which is useful if guests wish to download their favourite movies or games on the 40 inch Smart TV. This is complemented by a Blu-ray DVD player.

The cottage is superbly positioned 100 yards from the market place (Friday is market day) which is surrounded by an excellent selection of shops, pubs and quality restaurants. The Leyburn Shawl is only a few minutes walk through the town and provides breath-taking views over the Dale as well as wonderful walks. A charming single track railway wends its way through Wensleydale with a station conveniently located in Leyburn, a five minute walk from the cottage, offering another fun and unique way to visit the neighbouring area. In the Summer the station is the home to steam engines, in true "Railway Children" style.
