Cliff Head is a lovely cozy cottage. You have everything you need and it is well equipped and very clean. It has a massive advantage of having its own parking space too, which is brilliant, although I would take a cover, as the seagulls make quite a mess on your car. The lounge is on the first floor, and it is lovely to sit in front of the open fire, and look out of the windows each side of the chimney breast out onto the open sea. It is quite small, and you need to watch your head as you climb the stairs if you are fairly tall, but this is not a complaint at all, it is lovely to be able to stay in such a lovely old characterful cottage. Highly recommend.

Inglenook Cottage is a perfect home from home. The owners have created a comfortable and stylish cottage with just the right mix of traditional and modern features. Furniture, appliances, crockery, cookware, linen and towels are all of a very good quality. The cottage has a bigger than expected garden, a bonus for families with children or dogs. The owners had left a generous welcome pack and were great at communicating with us when there was a problem with the key safe. All rooms are well-equipped, and the living room & bedroom are lovely to sit in when the sunlight streams in, and in the cosy evening. The kitchen table is bigger, and therefore more useful, than as shown in the photos. The parking space is really useful, saving a lot of fetching and carrying. The welcome pack of goodies and milk were much appreciated.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The raised decking area was a lovely spot to sit and read in the sun. Great sea views from the lounge window too. It was very peaceful but only a short walk into the village with a pub and shop and only 15 mins walk to Robin Hoods Bay. Great bus service in the village to Whitby and Scarborough. We hardly used the car. Beautiful coastal walks and beaches within walking distance. A lovely spot to spend some time.
