  This property was absolutely amazing.

  Not only did it have surely one of the best views in the UK, but the apartment was a fantastic place to stay as well. The three bedrooms are all very generous sizes, two of which have stunning panoramic views over the bay, and one has an ensuite. This made for a very comfortable stay for my family. The main living area was very thoughtfully laid out and appointed, with ample kitchen appliances and utensils provided, plus a bonus coffee machine! This room really makes the most of the view and has a sky light to make the room extremely light and inviting The wrap-around balcony was also a great feature, especially as it connects externally around to the two beachside bedrooms. The property was clean throughout, and fresh bedding and towels were provided. Useful extras were available to make the stay easier, such as soaps, kitchen consumables, a hoover and a clothes dryer. The owner was also extremely helpful and responsive, giving clear instructions on how to enter the property and access the parking space, and also providing additional local area information on request. Overall I cannot fault this stay, and would very happily return to this property in the future! I would definitely recommend this apartment to others, and in fact, I already have. :)

  After being initially a bit disappointed on arrival at the flat, mainly due to the location (the view from the window is a barbers and a Chinese takeaway), we realised that it actually isn't in a bad position if you don't mind walking up a steep hill. We tended to take out everything that we might need for the day and evening so we didn't have to go back too often. We aren't used to traffic noise though, so had to keep the windows closed at night which was a bit uncomfortable. The flat was well equipped with a comfortable bed and large shower. Parking was quite a problem. After managing to get a spot opposite the flat, we didn't move the car for four days. The good thing about Swanage (which we really loved) is that there are so many beautiful walks with stunning views, nice restaurants and a regular local bus service, so that once we were there, a car really wasn't needed. We missed having an outdoor area more than we thought we would, but the excellent pub, just two minutes walk away, has a garden.

  What a find!

  !! Had a fantastic stay in Flat 6 ( At top of the building) We unlocked our door and were so surprised and delighted to find a lovely thought out l 1 Bedroom ( King size bed) kinky sloping roof Beautiful Shower room ( tiled floor and walls) Wooden floor in self contained living/kitchen sitting room ( with kinky Wooden Beams )overlooking Main Street and a few steps from the sea Perfect distance among shops and restaurants The owner has made a remarkable job of the Plaza Purbeck Buildung consisting of 6 flats PS My wife and I are in our late 80 s But must mention 11 steps from pavement to door up to flats 13 steps inside up to 2 nd.floor 11 steps up to Attic ( but what a little gem) If any problems just go into Tapas Bar ( on front of building on pavement) Lovely couple resident also ( Sorry we forgot to write in visitor s book) Hope this puts it right Can t wait to visit again We love your place and we love Swanage

  Beautiful apartment right on the front so you feel you are almost on the beach.

  As it’s the quiet end of the town, you aren’t disturbed by too much noise. I’d seen on another description that you should be aware of the steep steps up to the door and of the stairs up to the apartment itself. Definitely bear that in mind if you have mobility issues, like me but I was determined to overcome them just for the location. Excellent communication with the owner , who was prompt in responding to a couple of questions. Apartment was super clean, really comfortable beds, would just say dining chairs need updating, sofa could perhaps have a deep clean. Also everyone in our party said the two single chairs weren’t comfortable. They could perhaps be put in the bedrooms and a couple of more comfy ones acquired. Other than that there was everything you could need, certainly more than enough crockery and glassware. The welcome pack was much appreciated as was the coffee machine. The parking spot was also very beneficial.

  Wonderful property and views to die for.

  Listening to ocean as you fall asleep with bifold doors open was the best treat. The owner was very responsive to messages. We all enjoyed the stay. Minor constructive suggestions for tiny improvement, include face clothes with linens, few kitchen towels, and a couple of throw blankets on sofa would have made it lovely, as we wanted to have doors open Listening to the ocean, but quite a chill in evenings, couple of fluffy blankets would have been dreamy. Other than that, proximity to beach was down on sand in 15 seconds, fabulous. Highly recommended and parking had 1 dedicated secured space, and plenty of road parking 1 street over, very easy. Can pull up in front of property to pack and unpack. Lovely gifts locally sourced left for us too. Coffee machine fab and was very well used!
