  Lovely clean, comfortable and modern property. Shame not to have a dishwasher, but it felt luxurious to have 2 bathrooms plus a downstairs loo. Convenient location for exploring the northern Dales. It's on the edge of a town, so you don't get rural seclusion, but you do get amenities within 10 minutes' walk. Both the Co-Op and R. Cambells supermarkets were larger than expected and well stocked. There are a decent selection of churches, pubs and tea shops. The Shawl has the most picturesque playground that we have ever visited. We also enjoyed Aysgarth Falls, Middleham Castle, the Wensleydale Creamery and some nice walks with a bit of wildlife.

  This was an absolutely delightful find! Tucked away in the small hamlet of Sustead, off the beaten track, Wheelwright proved to be the perfect getaway for us and our dog! The barn was decorated and furnished to the highest of standards and the enclosed courtyard was a great addition for the dog! You do need to have a car in order to get out and about to explore the surrounding countryside and beaches, of which there are many. Also bring the daily supplies you need, as the nearest shop is a good ten minute drive away. It worked so well for us, we had a super relaxing week, walking and chilling. And the barn added to this beautifully.

  A lovely clean, light and airy holiday apartment with amazing views in a beautiful location.

  It was perfect for the 2 of us (might have been a squish for 4 adults). I would suggest more comfortable mattresses for the beds - they were a bit too soft and we tended to roll into each other a bit on the double. Also the bathroom (which is on the small side) could do with a bit of a spruce up, particularly round the bottom of the shower screen. Loved the main living area and kitchen - couldn’t fault them. Absolutely loved Lyme Regis. One other thing - black out blinds would be better in the bedrooms rather than Venetian- which let too much light in, hence woke up at 5 am each morning - not what you want on holiday!

  This was our second year at Seahorse as we stayed there the same time last year as well.

  We had a very enjoyable stay again. It is a very comfortable appartment and fantastic location especially if you have young children or grandchildren in my case as you are so close to the seafront so you can come back very easily if one or the other of them is cold for example. Our complaint last year was that the shower did not drain very quickly but I can see that this has been fixed which was brilliant. This appartment is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children but as previous reviews have stated 4 adults would be a bit of a squeeze definitely. We all loved it and are hoping to come back again next year.

  The property was lovely.

  It was extremely well equipped. A lovely place to stay. I have a few suggestions. Couldn't use the coffee maker since no instructions. Instructions for everything a good idea then nothing can get wrongly used. I am only 5ft 2 so could not reach the high shelves or properly put anything in the microwave. Good job my husband is taller. I have a problem with one knee, the last step to the property was very difficult since it was much higher than all the others. These are not criticisms just how I found the property. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday in the area.
