Stayed at The Buttery, Warkworth with another couple. Fantastic accommodation, very clean, well equipped and more than we expected. One of the best welcome packs we have received. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen was great for us to enjoy together with no-one in a kitchen cooking on their own! The ‘Secret Garden’ was a lovely suntrap with it’s cosy garden ‘shed’ a great place to enjoy a tipple or two! Great location in centre of the village, close to the pubs, shops, cafe’s and river. First time we have used Coquet Cottages and not disappointed. They were a pleasure to deal with and kept me updated either by phone calls or emails on our holiday. Will certainly use again and recommend.

This is our first visit to Northumberland and we enjoyed every minute of it! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped and we actually relaxed! The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The beach at Bamburgh is lovely and the dog loved it too – liked The Copper Kettle for lunch. Would highly recommend: Lollo Rosso in Morpeth – the lasagna was one of the nicest i’ve had! If you go, go between 5-6 it is happy hour. We went on Tuesday evening and by 6 it was really busy so best to book. Loved Warkworth – very pretty. Thanks for the lovely welcome pack – a very much appreciated special touch. Hopefully we’ll be back again.

A fabulously comfortable and quiet cottage. There was birdsong all day and quite literally hopping hares in the field outside which were my personal highlights! We loved the coastline, the villages, the boat trip to see the puffins and seals on the Farne Islands. Holy Island was a special place as we’d hoped. Special mention to the charming National Trust volunteers at Cragside and Lindisfarne Castle – what a well told story. Hope all future guests have an equally relaxing and fun time. Thank you for the wonderful, well-thought out and generous welcome hamper.

The Buttery is a beautiful first floor apartment in the Centre of the picturesque village of Warkworth. It has an open plan living/ dining room through to kitchen, two beautifully bedrooms one with en suite and a separate second bathroom. The apartment is decorated beautifully and has a lovely cosy feeling to it. There was a lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers waiting for us and there was also a welcome pack for our little dog. It is definitely worth a stay here, we will be returning.

Hare Cottage was wonderful. Very homely and well equipped. Great long walk from Warkworth beach to Alnmouth. Good seal spotting and rock pooling at Craster. Can recommend kippers for breakfast! Good food at The Joiners Arms at Low Newton by the Sea and great walk down to the beach where you can have a drink at The Ship Inn. George loved the beaches and was worn out every day. Welcome pack gratefully received by all. We will definitely stay again and recommend Coquet Cottages. Thanks!
