  Superb property in great location with places like Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay etc on your doorstep. Hosts really have thought of everything from providing luxury bedding, bath sheets and plenty of extra towels to all cleaning products, toiletries including bath/shower gel/shampoo/hair dryers/iron (things I always think about when going away) Superb countryside scenery with livestock all around. Cannot believe how close we were to the motorway as no noise experienced, very peaceful and tranquil. Hosts really have gone over and above to make this a fantastIc stay. Even small touches like an emergency pack for little essentials you may have forgotten to pack. The hot tub was great, took a while to heat and if using regularly as we did, you will need to get plenty of firewood in. Well equipped kitchen and loved the two seperate lounge areas where lots of extras were provided including indoor/outdoor toys and games, cookery/reading books, instruction manuals for the property. Well equipped garden with plenty of seating and climbing frame for children. Have recommended a swing/slide for under 3’s would be a great addition. BBQ and ice bath great additions too! High chair, travel cot and baby gates also provided. Good choice of supermarkets to choose from in local area. All our guests (7 in total) were impressed with the set up of this property and quality of everything. We said the only thing missing is that there are no local pubs within walking distance if you didn’t want to drive but really wasn’t an issue, just something we are used to at home. This really was a home from home experience and we cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be visiting again.

  We have just returned from a week's holiday at Sea Glass in Carbis Bay.

  ... what a gorgeous apartment....and the balcony is fantastic, just a shame we didn't have the weather to use it to its best advantage....apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring the delights of Cornwall.... Gannet Inn and La Casita served gorgeous food.... Just a couple of things that we feel would make the apartment 100% perfect: * a wardrobe in bedroom 2.... we were 4 adults and had to share 1 wardrobe * small selection of condiments, salt, pepper, oil, ketchup/brown sauce etc (even if these are 'sachets') * a lamp in the window near the corner sofa to create 'ambiance' (the reading lamp is stunning, I've even bought the same shade) * the hoover looked as thought it had not been emptied since it was bought, was VERY compacted and took 2 of us 30 mins to scrape out!! It's evident that the cleaners don't check this either! * Pegs. I understand why there is only a maiden, but pegs are needed to keep clothes on the maiden when placed on the balcony These are not items that would stop us from staying again, but are 'inexpensive' fixes for the owner to create the perfect place.

  This is a lovely apartment in a beautiful part of Cornwall.

  It is only a short walk down to the beach at Carbis Bay and we walked to St Ives a few times too. St Ives has plenty of places to eat and also has a lovely beach. We drove to a couple of National Trust places within 30 mins...St Michael's mount is very impressive. The apartment in spacious and comfortable; it had everything we needed for the week with our two children. Main bedroom is en suite with another bathroom across from the other bedroom. Small issue was noise transference from the apartment above us...thumping footsteps across the ceiling at night. Tescos just down the rd in a ten minute walk....huge supermarkets a short drive towards Penzance. We also visited Healys cyder farm.

  Hello I'm really sorry I wasn't able to leave feed back on the day of departure.

  We left on Friday, not Saturday. The reason for this was because my sister who came on holiday passed away at St Julia's hospice on the early hours of the 6th September. Dawn, my sister had cancer of brain, lungs, mouth, bowels and liver. We knew this was her last holiday but it happened so fast on the 5th September. An ambulance had to be called to you apartment and took her too the hospice. We are extremely sorry if we missed anything at the apartment but we did try to leave it as clean as we could. My sister had a fantastic 5 days and absolutely loved your apartment so I would like to thank you for her last days enjoying Cornwall and your apartment. Kind regards Carol Clay

  We had a really lovely stay at this beautiful house. The location is fantastic—peaceful, with gorgeous views, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The house itself is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed and more. The garden was a real highlight, with plenty of space to relax and play. The climbing frame, garden furniture, and BBQ were all very much appreciated by the whole family. The hot tub was a lovely addition, though it does take quite a while to heat up and the fire requires regular attention—something to keep in mind if you’re planning to be out and about all day. Thank you for a great stay—we really enjoyed it!
