  Gaynor is such a fantastic host, so helpful and gave us a great restaurant recommendation.

  It was so lovely to be welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and all the fresh flowers around the house. Gaynor really does think of everything! The cottage is immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need, really lovely comfy bed and the hot tub was amazing in a really charming private garden which is a real sun trap. The cottage is in a fantastic location, a minute walk to the river and 20 minutes walk to the city and grosvenor park, couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s also only a 10 minute drive to Chester zoo so really convenient for a day out seeing the animals! Only regret we have is not staying for longer but we will definitely be back to make up for it!

  We booked an extended stay as we were waiting for visas to allow is to permanently relocate to Spain.

  We chose Clonmore, in part, for the location and also for the fantastic reviews that had been left online. We were not disappointed, Donna had started the wood burner and after a long journey, walking into a warm and comfortable home was a wonderful start. As was the welcome pack that so many people had previously commented on. We were staying over Christmas and Donna had put up a tree and decorations to put us in the festive mood. Our dog had a gift, as did we, again what a thoughtful touch. Having been to Cornwall on many occasions, this is the finest we have stayed in and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you Donna for your kind hospitality.

  Lovely little cottage, very comfortable and clean.

  Would love to know more about the history. Bit surprised at first that it was on such a busy road but soon got used to the traffic. We were also a bit disappointed that the walk to the town was along a main noisy road but then found, at the top of our road, the tow path along the canal which runs parallel to the main road and that was great. Peaceful with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go - town, walls, bus station, cafes along the waterside where you can sit and watch the barges and the world go by in peace without the noise of traffic. The holiday ticked all our boxes - thank you.

  A beautiful place in great location.

  The host was great even before we got there. We had all the necessary information few days before. We were told that the place was ready few hours earlier if we needed it. The Cottage was spotless on arrival. Located a minute walk from the river or 15 minutes from the city centre. There is a nice cafe for the breakfast at the top of the road. If you prefer to make your own, the kitchen in the cottage is well equipped for cooking. Hot tub outside was great addition and probably a main selling point. We had a really great stay and will hopefully come back again. Would recommend to anyone.

  Had the most fantastic week staying at Clonmore.

  Accommodation was super comfy and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. We really appreciated the hamper and essentials such as milk and butter in the fridge upon arrival, meaning we didn’t have to rush out to a shop straight away. The owner was absolutely fantastic and provided so much info prior to our stay. Clonmore is situated in a quiet location but within walking distance to a shop, pub and takeaways for convenience. We’d thoroughly recommend staying at Clonmore, it has to be one of the best holiday accommodations we’ve ever stayed in.
