Another superb weeks break in a fabulous cottage with everything you could hope for.
Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated of a high standard with magnificent views. We stayed at the cottage next door last year and knew we'd be back just didn't think it would be so soon. We've made full use of all the facilities, another well equipped kitchen, enjoyed the Hot Tub sauna and spa bath. Lovely welcome pack of milk, chocolate and bubbly on arrival. Location is perfect In a beautiful village with plenty of places with in walking distance and beautiful places to drive to. Highly recommend the Sunday roast at the Mason Arms Also a Fish and Chip shop, Indian and a quant tea rooms. Which is a must to try as they are all fantastic Also there is a well stocked village Co-op. The hosts were very friendly, and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

What an amazing holiday cottage.
It had everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Open fire, comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen/storeroom. Plenty of information and excellent WiFi throughout the house. Starbotton has a friendly staffed pub serving food and ales and Cecilias does a fantastic rustic Italian style pizza. Buckden and KettleWell are within a two mile riverside walk. The Wensleydale Creamery, where you can taste test over 30 different cheeses for free is in the village of Hawes which is approx 15miles away. It also has a cheese making demonstration, cafe and gift shop. There are plenty of walks for you and the dog if you have one including Buckden Pike and the lead mine. I canât wait to stay here again!

A fantastic property with a beautiful view x As soon as we stepped in, it felt like home; Immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need; hot tub and a sauna.
We took our 10yr old chocolate lab Stanley who enjoyed sitting on the first floor balcony watching the ducks, barges and wagging his tail at every passer-by. The wine, chocolate and milk were a lovely touch. Kyle and Nicola were great hosts who greet you in person the night you arrive and were available if you needed them. Walks for all ages and abilities; Gargrave is a beautiful village with 3 pubs, a lovely cafe and gift shop full of sweet treats that take you back in time. An Indian Restaurant (delicious) and a Fish Shop offering tasty meal deals for all budgets. Gargrave is is a great base for Ingleton, Malham, Skipton and Settle too. A great week away and we are already looking into returning next year. Sarah

Lovely area, fabulous dining pub next door and really friendly local people. The cottage was very old and dated as noted by other guests who had stayed there. It would have been nice to have doors on the cupboards in the kitchen and have the microwave and fridge in the kitchen instead of the pantry, the bathroom taps were very quirky and had to be turned many times before the water came out and the heating didn't come on when it was supposed to. However it is an old characterful property with lots of space, in a fabulous location with a cosy log burner and lots of logs and none of the above quirky things were a great problem for us and we would be happy to stay there again.
