  “This is our third visit to Paddock Bungalow in Mundesley on the North Norfolk coast and on each occasion we have enjoyed a lovely holiday. The bungalow is in a tranquil location adjoining a small paddock occupied by two ponies who seemed perfectly at ease with our close proximity. There are lovely views over the fields towards Gimingham and we enjoyed the sunsets on several evenings. Despite the peaceful setting there is a Tesco Express store only a couple of minutes' walk away and the esplanade and village centre are within easy walking distance as well. The bungalow is comfortable and homely and the owners were kind enough to provide a very acceptable bottle of wine as a welcome gift, together with milk in the fridge so that we could enjoy a nice cup of tea on arrival. All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending Paddock Bungalow as an ideal location for a short break or a longer holiday.”

  Ivy Cottage was a beautiful place to stay in a quiet village, with just a short walk to the lovely sandy beach. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with comfy beds and was well kitted out with absolutely everything you might possibly need - a lot of thought has clearly been put in to this by the owners with some lovely finishing touches. There was milk and butter in the fridge upon our arrival and a generous basket of goodies left out on the table for us. We took our dog with us and she was well catered for with dog bed, feeding station and even a jar of treats :-) Parking was provided for two cars but is a little tight for larger vehicles.

  We had a lovely week and the weather was gorgeous. We enjoyed going for meals at the Royal Hotel and walks along the beach from the cottage. We love the area, as used to stay in our touring caravan on Sandy Gulls, so know the village and area well. We managed with all of mum's equipment and she was able to get around too. We visited Blickling Hall, Bure Valley Railway, Hoveton Hall Gardens, Walcott for fish n chips and their lovely Jersey ice cream, East Ruston Vicarage Gardens and called in Felbrigg Hall on the way home. We would love to visit again and would recommend to others, the views are fabulous.

  “Paddock Bungalow was a lovely base for exploring North Norfolk. It was clean and well presented and a lovely touch of a welcoming message and a bottle of wine was very much appreciated. We found the bungalow very cosy and is well located for a Tesco Express store and local takeaways. Parking on site was also a nice bonus. Also only a ten minute walk from the beautiful Mundesley coast. Only slight downside was that there was no wifi, and this is not mentioned in the listing. All in all a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend to others.”

  Ruby's cottage has all the charm of a lovely home and with a secure courtyard to relax in at the end of a days walk was well needed. Ideally located for the shops and beach with some amazing walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. Parking is tight but there are local car parks which were easier to use. Very dog friendly and secure. We brought our own chair covers as well but everything was catered for. A proper home from home feeling. Was an amazing week off with great weather so no complaints.
