  It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and with everything we needed.

  The booking was straightforward (thank you Sykes), all the instructions on how to access the property were easy to follow. The owners were very friendly and we had some lovely fresh eggs from their chickens to greet us, including a daily visit from one of the chickens during our stay! We did have one disturbed night when a smoke detector started beeping due to low battery and we would normally have been able to sort it ourselves but the ceiling was very high and beyond our reach. The following morning we saw the owner in the yard and mentioned it and he immediately came and sorted it. I would gladly recommend this property, the owners and the area, which we were already familiar with. They even arranged wonderful weather for us!! An all round wonderful holiday.

  All in all this is a lovely place to stay.

  It was comfortable and in a great location. The double bed was very comfortable. The site is relatively quiet despite its close proximity to a main road. Generally the lodge was clean although the cups, glasses and crockery needed a dishwasher clean before use as they weren’t up to standard and handles and surfaces were sticky and needed a further clean. Our check in was 40 minutes late as when we arrived the cleaners were still there and we were told that the last guests had “left it in a right mess!” which left us feeling a little apprehensive. The lodge does need mirrors in the bedrooms as there’s nowhere really to see to dry your hair and use straighteners other than the microwave glass. Despite the small issues would we stay here again? Yes!

  The Granary is a fantastic cottage.

  It was easy to find, and very private being down a lane from the A44, so it was quite and peaceful. On arrival at the cottage, the instructions worked well and the security gate gave peace of mind. The first glimpse into cottage is of a place that was clean, tidy, well maintained and very welcoming. During the stay, it displayed how much care and attention to detail had been give to the cottage at the time of set up and with the ongoing presentation. The addition of local books and leafets were great. Tom and Lucy who lived at the property were discreet in the way they were not intrusive, but were there is required, were very friendly and had pride in their holiday cottage, I would recommend it 100%, thank you very much for a great holiday base.

  What a lovely cottage/lodge to stay at.

  The location is very peaceful & relaxing, has local fresh produce stores and a supermarket for any necessities. The actual lodge itself is very modern & very well looked after by the lovely owner. There’s a patio area with a hot-tub, table and seating for 2 along with customisable mood lighting which is a very nice touch. Both TVs are fully functional and connected to WiFi & have all the modern apps for shows/films. Bathroom is very clean & the shower is very modern with great water pressure, also provided home-made soap on arrival!!! Fridge & overall kitchen was spotless and a massive bonus for providing biscuits, butter, milk, jam & all the necessary cutlery & crockery. Amazing experience overall & I will definitely be returning with my partner.

  We had such a fantastic time in the Alstroemeria lodge.

  Me and my partner have stayed in 3 tiny house/lodges and we both agree that this was the best one so far. Our lodge had a new sofa (sorry if you're a super fan of a red sofa as seen in the pic) and slightly smaller breakfast bar area but this gave the place slightly more room which we appreciated. The hosts were really helpful and informative and finding the location was very easy. It is such a cute tiny on peaceful, calming grounds. Huge thanks to Natty for the cute touches like the handmade soap and local cookies. The place had all necessary utensils for cooking at home, and if you don't wish to do so there is a lovely pub 10 mins away where the food is fantastic. Would 100% recommend this place for a cotswold getaway
