There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, another double bedroom and two singles. There is also a family bathroom. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with woodburner. There is off road parking for 2 cars, a front bench to take in the superb views, and a rear lawned garden. With the watersports of Coniston Water a few miles away, the amenities of Ulverston down the road and the walking and cycling trails of the fells on the doorstep, South Woodend makes a great base for family or friends.

Lowick Green is a small country hamlet a few miles from Coniston Water and Ulverston. The hamlet has a 14th century pub which serves good food. Further amenities are available in the festival town of Ulverston. Lowick Green has views over the Coniston Old Man, and good walking and cycling are available nearby.
