Just a short walk from the harbour, shops, cafes and pubs in Seahouses, Porthole Cottage is a great base for a relaxing holiday - the cosy sitting room has an open fire for the cooler evenings, the kitchen is well equipped and the first floor bedroom is charming.
Get out and about and explore… Seahouses in Beadnell Bay has a unique west facing harbour, perfect for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally. This beautiful area of Northumberland is awash with castles and market towns all within easy reach. Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop.

Cooker slow, vacuum full of dust and heavy to use. A heated towel rail would be good, difficult to dry towel, smaller towels would have been better.
