  The cottage was clean and tidy, it has everything you need for your stay.

  A great location to explore Llyn Peninsula.  Location on main street of village, but quite enough as not a throughfare route as village bypassed. My only frustration was asking a question the day before arrival. I called the number provided and was directed to getting a text messge back. I have booked through Sykes and found them to be ok. On this occasion not so. I will leave you to judge for yourself below the text message comms below. Menia Holiday Cottages, seem to be part of Sykes but for Wales only. My message to Menia Can you confirm Ivy House has a fridge/ freezer as per pictures and not just a icebox in a fridge. From Menia the follwing day. Hi. You are speaking with Andrew. Just so that I can pass data protection can I take your full name and booking reference please? My message to Menia As you took nearly a day to reply not great service. I was already travelling to cottage. I had with me the relevant info, address and combination for keysafe. Hiding behind Data protection, oh my god. I only wanted to know fridge info which the photo is open for the world to see. Thank you for lack of info. Read again on feedback about the property.   We were delighted, as the cottage far exceeded our expectations and we had a brilliant stay.

  Very warm welcome from Nicola & John, which included Prosecco & delicious bara brith fruit cake and they gave very helpful advice on the local area and eating places. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well equipped, very comfortable and the rear garden with the hot tub was private and got the sun from early morning to late afternoon. The hot tub was drained, cleaned and refilled between bookings and John tested the water in the hot tub on a daily basis. Overall very high standard of accommodation and we will certainly return and recommend to friends and family.

  Fabulous cottage and perfect for the romantic getaway.

  The cottage is fitted to the highest standard with all creature comforts included to make it a stay away that feels like home from home. The hot tub is a real bonus; perfect for starlit nights to end a day exploring the local area. Nicola and John are welcoming hosts, providing friendly advice if needed. The cottage is perfectly situated in the quiet village of Llanystumdwy, away from the hustle and bustle, and within walking distance of the beach, coastal path and Criccieth. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed is super comfy. Highly recommended.

  We have just returned from a fantastic week at Y Bwthyn.

  On arrival we found the cottage spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. It looks tiny on the outside but was actually quite spacious. The garden was a bonus, very secure and private and we enjoyed watching the birds watching us dining outside! Criccieth is a really quiet, quaint little seaside town and the cottage was a very short stroll from the beach. Would highly recommend a stay here as it is a great base to explore the whole of the Llyn Peninsula. Would definitely return. Thank you.

  Gorgeous cottage.

  Great facilities. Ideal location , cafes, restaurants, beach, shops, castle right on the doorstep. No problems parking nearby. Kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom. Kind of cottage you want to live in. There is a nice garden at the back, those with toddlers will need to watch as the top tier has a drop without a protective barrier apart from flower pots. I would definitely stay there again it’s beautiful. Criccieth is one of our favourite places.
