What our customers say about their holidays

As soon as we walked into Ribby Barn, we were blown away.
Sometimes there are negatives when you first arrive at a holiday home, but this has no negatives whatsoever. Everything was perfect, from cleanliness, comfort and so peaceful. Kitchen fully equipped, all appliances easy to use. Lovely welcome pack left by the owners, which was a surprise. Beds super comfortable, main bathroom was superb, and beautifully decorated plus well finished. If you like remote, this is the place for you. The stars at night were like a canopy. Lovely garden, with a table and bench under the trees. Yes, it is up a track, with a no through road, but even with farms around you could not hear a thing. The walk down to the village took about 20 minutes, perhaps a little longer, uphill on the way back, but worth it. We could not praise the owners enough. This is a little gem. Lerryn itself is so so pretty, one shop and one pub. The car park is free, but gets busy, especially at the weekend. We spoke with the owner the day before arrival to sort the keys out etc, very friendly and informative. Love, love, loved it. THANK YOU.

Although we have had a lovely time at the Coast we do have a few issues: 1.
Description says harbour view, you cannot see the harbour further trees! This was extremely disappointing for us az we book properties in St.Ives based on their view!! Also your description said that there is dvd player and Sony ipod doing station but neither were there! You need to update the description of the property as this is mis-selling! Also therefore chipped mugs and bowls! Lastly the cleaning, there were cobwebs in the kitchen cupboard and bits in one of the kitchen cupboards. There were cobwebs behind the curtain to the patio doors in the lounge. The cooker hood had not been cleaned and was greasy. Idon't think that the floor had been hoovered I under the beds as there was fluff under them and a toilet roll tube under one of the beds. For what we paid for the apartment I woukd have expected a better standard of cleaning and am very disappointed about the view as the view was one if the main reasons for me booking Coast.

This is our third stay at Coast in 6 years.
Although the surroundings are beautiful and the location is excellent, it feels like the flat hasnât been updated in those 6 years at all. It is advertised as a luxury apartment which Iâm afraid it definitely isnât. We would recommend changing the mattresses as the beds are so uncomfortable. The lights under the kitchen cupboards couldnât be used as the flashed constantly. The remote controls, the Wii remotes and balance board all had to have their batteries replaced which was very annoying. Also, the washing machine instructions in the welcome book are for a different washing machine and the actual instructions on the washing machine have been covered up. The light just stopped working in the second bedroom as well. Generally, some more attention to detail would be welcome to make this apartment worth the price.

The cottage was very good and lovely and warm and cosy, the kitchen could have done with a bigger or second radiator as that was the only area that was cold but we just left the door open to the lounge' also there was no welcome book about the cottage but the owner was there and explained about the TV & Wifi etc there were a few essential things not in the inventory like bread bin, Pint glasses and normal glasses (there were plastic ones but not the same to drink from) and dishes to put in the microwave to warm food up no recycling facilities at the cottage so we ended up bringing it all back to do at home it said fuel was included in the rent for the fire but we only had about 4 logs , I am glad we took a bag of coal as we used that as well other wise a very nice cottage
