Well-appointed and equipped house in a lovely quiet village. The hosts left a (very welcome) welcome pack including a delightful lemon drizzle cake. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped for two people and the bed as comfortable. There was a blanket and bowls to keep our little dog happy. There is a patio garden with a lounger (cushions available in the cupboard under the stairs) which we used on sunny days. Lots of walking places to visit nearby including Thetford Forest and the Redgrave & Lopham Fen. There is the Kings Head just up the road in North Lopham for a drink and the White Horse in South Lopham where the food is really excellent (and you can walk there in 20 mins via the restricted byway running south of the local primary school).

The house was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. There was even a towel, blanket and treats for the dog. The rooms are comfy and well thought out. The garden was beautiful and enclosed. We spent most evenings with the doors open enjoying the sunshine. The welcome goodies were great and meant we had lovely evening tea and porridge for breakfast. Was great to not have to worry about going back out for food when we got there. We felt so at home and loved it. There was a lovely card which told us about the farmers market the next day. We were able to walk down and get some amazing produce that was tasty and fresh. The surrounding areas were lovely and so relaxing.

Beautiful decor, comfy bed, all spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped; everything you could possibly need and more, including a home made lemon drizzle cake, a bottle of wine and other goodies! Located in a quiet village with a pub just a few minutes walk away where we mingled with the friendly locals, participated in a Quiz Night and enjoyed an evening of live folk music. The Clockhouse is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border making it ideal for visiting attractions in both counties as well as the coast.

A lovely cottage with everything needed for a relaxing break in Norfolk/Suffolk. The cottage is very well appointed and the outdoor area is a real bonus, especially as it was fully enclosed which is great when travelling with our dog. The village pub was just down the road and the owners and patrons were very friendly and welcoming. To top things off, a welcome pack providing all the basics to get the holiday started was a very thoughtful gesture, not to mention the lovely, homemade lemon drizzle cake!

The Forge is a fabulous place to stay and perfectly located in beautiful North Norfolk. The layout was great and everything has been done to a high standard. There is a beautiful courtyard garden that was abundant with flowers. Check in instructions were very clear and we had a wonderful hamper and fresh flowers to welcome.
