The BEST staycation! This place more than lived up to our expectations. The cabin was one of 2 around the same large pond, but you can't see or hear the other guests somehow? We found it incredibly private and relaxing, the ducks as our only company. They are bold and fearless, they did invite themselves into the cabin when we left the door open while hot tubbing and left us a lovely green present on the floor! The hot tub was absolutely lush, though it did take us a while to get used to it - it needs a LOT of wood, as the instructions said! The cabin was so comfortable, the bed was INSANE in a good way and the cabin itself wasn't too small. The land is literally in the middle of nowhere, head to the nearby town of Newport for a touch of civilisation, the other little towns are really out of touch and nothing in them worth visiting... The literal only thing I can complain about is that the listing did say toiletries were included, but there were none. There was a slither of soap left in the handwash bottle, no bath/shower toiletries - so make sure you bring your own.

Very clean, with towels, robes and even slippers provided!The hot tub was a lovely touch, we arrived later in the evening after being out all day and the owners had got the hot tub heated ready for us⦠was just perfect sitting and relaxing when the weather was chilly!The owners were easy to contact and were very friendly! We will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely little getaway for 2 nights this being are second night. Peaceful and secluded. I did have to ask for a step to get on to the bed but the owners where very helpful in finding one. You will have some very friendly ducks. Lush hot tub easy to manage once lit. Plenty of logs l. Clean BBQ. Cool box is provided. Usb sockets for charging phone. Very clean and tidy. Defo recommending to friends and family.
