  The cottage is on the main road into town so is quite busy from early morning until evening with the result that on a warm day with windows open it can be quite noisy. The bus from Sheringham dropped us off just outside the house. It is well located on the edge of town, very close to a (Coop) supermarket that is open 7am to 10pm most days and just a short walk into the main shops, facilities, port and beach. There are lots of wonderful off-road coastal walks around. The kitchen is well equipped with good meal seating arrangement. The bedrooms have plenty of storage for visitors The TV is very old with a poor quality picture and few of the features such as enhanced media from a personal drive that one would expect of a modern model. The garden was a surprise in that the photos don't show how nice it is. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing there as well as watching the local alpacas down the road. It is hard to imagine that the property is ever used as living home and it is need to some TLC. The TV needs a 20 year upgrade and with only occasional occupants there are a number of spiders and flies that seem to have moved in. With ages ranging from 5 to 70 we overall had a lovely week and were most happy with price but some of us felt we should have paid more for a cooler property in a quieter street with a more modern TV and a general homely feel. When we return to the area next year we may well do this

  Perfectly equipped with everything you should ever need on a holiday. Lovely cottage and would definitely book again. Floors were a little creaky upstairs but this didn’t bother us (even with little ones). Perfectly situated near the shops, all within walking distance, and the parking was a huge bonus as we had 2 cars. Can fit an SUV on the driveway without sticking out onto the path and the on road parking was never busy, even with the school drop offs/pick ups! The host was lovely to talk to on the phone and we loved that she provided some things to do, even if I did say we’ve been coming here for 26 years to visit grandparents, she mentioned places and things that even my grandparents had forgotten about! The cottage also has lots of helpful information of what to do in and around Wells-Next-The-Sea which was the perfect finishing touch!

  Had a fantastic week here. The Coach House is lovely, has everything we needed and kids loved the bunk beds. Great weather so been to the beach most days, and finished with Bewilderwood (1 hour drive) - great adventure play park place for the kids (aged 7 & 5). We had Chinese takeaway from the local one, very good, and fish and chips on the front. Girls enjoyed the amusements and crabbing down there. Also did a takeaway from The Crab House (as couldn't book a table). It was really great, just order on their website the day before and pop down and pick up. We did the crab platter and it was amazing. Also had a really lovely meal at The Glebe. All in all a fabulous week and we hope to return (hopefully when all the social distancing is finally over).   Thank you so much for letting us stay at your lovely cottage. We had everything we needed and so warm and cosy too. We all had plenty of room in the bedrooms and downstairs was totally equipped too. We really enjoyed how it was so close to Wells centre and so handy to have the CO-OP across the road. Thank you so much for your recommendations on where to visit. Walsingham by the little train, was a beautiful place and we were so lucky to get a boat trip to see the seals. We also visited the Muckleburgh Collection and Langham Dome, both very interesting places. Those who love walking have plenty of lovely walks too. We will definitely be visiting again.
