  The cottage is gorgeous with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It's been very well thought out and has some lovely homely touches and is decorated beautifully. Lovely and clean, garden is very pretty and enclosed, so good for the dog. Location, in terms of distance to everything Masham has to offer, is perfect. It's on a very busy road, not very wide but the speed that the trucks go past at is enough to make the bed shake! I was woken each morning around 5.30 as the traffic started. It is an old property and so would have been a lovely quiet road at one time, so completely understand that this can't be helped. The TV is only for streaming so difficult to watch live TV, all channels are available but as there is no guide it's easy to miss stuff. Having said that we didn't really stay in to watch much TV, but I could see it being a problem. A little welcome pack would be nice, milk, tea and coffee. There was a couple of tea bags, I presume left by a previous guest, but I had read reviews saying there wasn't anything so fortunately brought some.

  Spent a week here, could really have stayed much longer - Its a perfect property in a perfect location. The host was really helpful and responsive, and the cottage was really easy to find just round the corner from the main square in Masham, about a 5 minute stroll if walking. On arriving, we had the instructions on how to gain access and this was very easy. Once inside, it felt like being at home, really comfortable and very welcoming. An instruction folder for the cottage, plus lots of information on local walks and places to visit, which was really helpful. The cottage itself is as described, 2 good sized bedrooms, good size bathroom downstairs and a toilet upstairs. The kitchen was of a good size and well equiped. The garden was an added benefit and a great place to sit after a long day out walking. Masham itself, is a lovely market town with good pubs and shops, and within easy reach of the wonderful dales and near by picture postcard villages. Perfect cottage & a perfect location

  My sister & I plus, Darcy the puppy had a most wonderful 3 night visit to Green Willow Cottage. While the downstairs open plan living space is compact it is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious while the 2nd smaller one can just about squeeze in two people. We both commented on how comfy the beds were. Miss Darcy was very happy with her safe and secure garden for the duration of her stay. The only inconvenience is that the cottage is on a busy road with wagons going back and forth to the animal feed depot 200yds down the road. It certainly didn't spoil our stay but others might feel differently. Masham us a characterful market town with plenty of places to eat, just a 2 minute stroll from the cottage. We would highly recommend Green Willow Cottage, as a home away from home and would gladly return.

  The cottage was well positioned and set out nicely. The garden was great as we took our dog. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Masham is a lovely town and plenty to see in surrounding area or lovely local dog walks if you don't want to use your car. The cottage did not feel particularly clean, especially the downstairs bathroom. The shower tray leaked, and the toilet didn't seem like it had been cleaned. I've since looked at other reviews for the cottage and the same things have been said by other people who have stayed in this accommodation on previous occasions, which surprises me as I thought you would act on feedback. The double bed was very hard and not pleasant to sleep on and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable too.

  A really lovely place to stay for a few days. The house was clean and well presented. The house had all amenities you would need, lovely kitchen ware… if the weather is poor and it means you stay in, the TV doesn’t have any live channels-but if you have Netflix account or want to watch something on an app on the TV, you can. The open fire with logs ready and waiting were very welcome as the weather had turned colder and wetter. It was so cosy! Nice sized garden that would be really great to use in good weather. I would definitely go back and stay again it’s a stones throw away from the main town of Masham and all its amenities.
