  This is a fabulous cottage. So cosy and comfortable and extremely well equipped. It has been decorated and furnished with a lot of thought and care. This was a cottage for 2 & near to Bamburgh, which is where we wanted to stay. Your website is one of the best. The 3D property images are fantastic in helping choice and suitability when booking. This cottage has been equipped with everything you could possibly want or need! The welcome basket was very welcome indeed. It had just the right items to provide a breakfast and some treats to start the holiday. Thankyou. We could not fault this cottage & therefore it is hard to say exactly what we liked best! It was tasteful decorated and extremely well furnished which is something we don’t want to compromise on when we go away. The heating worked well so it was always cosy and warm. This is the first time we have booked with Coquet Cottages and we have been very impressed with how we have been looked after from start to finish. From researching our holiday on the website, to receiving our joining instructions and a very nice courtesy call a week beforehand – everything has been clear and concise and very professional.   Visited Coldburn Cottage in Oct 21 with my husband and 3 dogs, one of which is reactive. The property was warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and all furnishings comfortable. The grounds, extending to about an acre, are wonderful with a small brook, large grassed areas and a large walled garden which was totally secure and perfect for my dogs. The cottage has excellent wifi and the TV has a range of great channels (Netflix/Prime Video) to while away cosy evenings. The cottage is located in the Northumberland National Park and the views from all windows are superb. Due to its position and the time of year, we saw very few cars, people or dogs, making it perfect as a walking base for our dogs, especially our reactive dog. Infact, we didn't need to use our leads, at all. A range of facilities can be found about 6 miles away, in Wooler, including a Co-op and an excellent bakery which we used to stock up on shopping at the start of our holiday. It really was a fabulous place to stay and an absolute gem of a place for a reactive dog!

  This cottage was absolutely sublime, couldn’t fault one bit of it, so tastefully furnished and everything we could want. A real joy to stay in it. We stayed with you once before at Throstle cottagein Lesbury and that was just wonderful, and this break in Curlew Cottage was just as wonderful, an absolutely gorgeous cottage, what more can I say, it was just wow!! We will certainly be recommending the company to our friends, that’s for sure, I just wish there was a company in Scotland that did as high class quality accommodation as you do, and next time we are in the Northumberland area we wont hesitate but to book with Coquet Cottages, so thank you.

  Wow- what an absolutely amazing place. I can’t rate this highly enough and no amount of photos will ever do it justice. Very secluded. Idilic location and view over the snow capped hills. Lots of wildlife seen from the cottage. The beds are unbelievably comfortable! Kitchen really well stocked with pots/ pans etc for both cooking and baking. Lots of outside space for the dogs to run around securely in and out house where they could dry off and get cleaned before coming back in the house. Lots of logs and coal. (Sorry we used a lot as we just relaxed and made the most of the cottage). So glad I found this cottage. It’s a must.

  We had a lovely time celebrating our 5 year anniversary together in Curlew Cottage, which was perfectly spacious for 2. The cottage was very clean when we arrived and a lovely hamper was waiting for us! The parking was super easy with one space and the kitchen was well equipped enough for us to cook a dinner one night. The cottage itself is in a perfect location for shops, restaurants, takeaways and a wide selection of beaches but also is tucked away on a very quiet road. The electric fire was so lovely and really added to the cosiness of the living room. Overall we were so happy with our stay and will definitely be back!
